초록

본 연구는 2016, 17학년도 역사 중등교원 임용시험의 중국 근․현대사 사료 문항 가운데 문제가 있는 부분을 집중적으로 분석하여 임용시험 사료 출제 방식의 바람직한 개선과 보완 방향을 모색코자 시도된 것이다.
2016학년도의 근대사 신축조약 관련 문제와 2017학년도의 현대사 중국인민정치협상회의 공동 강령 문제 모두 제시문의 내용이 원 사료와 부합하지 않거나 번역이 부정확하여 오해와 혼선을 빚고 있음을 지적하였다. 이는 번역된 사료를 원 사료와 엄밀하게 대조하지 않은데서 오는 착오로 보여진다. 임용시험 문제의 신뢰성을 심각하게 훼손하는 이러한 실수는 재발해서는 안된다. 그러기 위해서는 문제 출제자와 검토자의 사료 해독과 활용에 대한 보다 진지한 주의와 함께 출제․검토 인력의 보완, 전공구성의 효율화를 고려해 볼 필요가 있다. 더구나 관련 부분의 개설서 내용들도 사료에 기초하지 않은 잘못된 기술이 상당수 발견되어 조속히 시정해야함을 지적하였다.

영어초록

After the secondary teacher employment examination in 2014, the multiple-choice problems were abolished, and changed to short-answers or essay-type questions. The purpose of this study is to analyze Chinese modern history questions, and search for the problem and suggest desirable directions for the examination. Specifically, it analyzed the issues related to the Boxer Protocol (1901) and the common main principles of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (1949). It examined whether the basic contents of the information presented in question corresponded to the content of the original historical materials, whether the content of the original materials was faithfully translated, and whether there was any flaw with the accuracy and validity as examination questions. As a result, it was found that there were a number of problems in the translation of the basic information and the historical materials of the 2016 Boxer Protocol questions and the 2017 Common Main Principles questions. In addition, the general statement, which has a high possibility of being referenced by the examiners and the test-takes, was reviewed to look for problems and inaccuracies. It emphasized that when making examination questions through this process, it is necessary to prioritize the work of comparing with the original historical materials. It also pointed out that reference books and material usage should be done with caution. since various errors were found in the related general statements and internet data review results. As one of the ways to solve these problems, it was suggested that the Department of Education and Science should have sufficient time in cooperation with experts to make accurate collection of historical materials translations, and attach the original historical materials to improve the understanding and interpretation ability of it.
