초록

In this article, I have tried to describe features of functioning of phraseological units (phrasemes, idiomatic phrases, idioms), which are presented in M.A. Bulgakov's works of different genres. Many researchers pay the close attention to literary heritage of Bulgakov. As is well known, the Bulgakov's works have a very important place in the history of literature, literary science and also in linguistics. Repeatedly many linguists have investigated and written about features of Bulgakov's language. M. Bulgakov used many phraseological units, idioms, familiar expression, cliches in his works. The purposes of use of phraseological units in a Bulgakov's works have various character.
I analyze features of the use of phraseological units depending on where the writer uses the phraseological unit, namely depending on narration type. In this paper, I analyze features of the use of the phraseological units, which were presented in an author's narration and in the speech (narration) of characters.
In the author's speech, phraseological units depending on type of an author's narration are used. The author's narration has synthetic character that is explained by simultaneous presence at the text of several types of a narration. Colloquial, neutral and literary idioms are used for detailed delineation of subjects and reality, for creation of new shades of values. In M.A. Bulgakov's works, phraseological units are used for the description of an emotional state, behavior and appearance of characters. Peculiar feature of an author's narration are speech stamps, a cliches, which are used in the text.
The speech of characters is characterized by the use of phraseological units with the ‘god/devil’ (‘бог/черт’) components as means of stylization for giving to statements of characters of colloquial, rough and familiar character. Abusive and colloquial idioms are used for giving to some characters of a raciness and identity. In the speech of characters, active use of popular quotes is noted.
In the conclusion, it is necessary to specify the common features peculiar to an author's narration and the speech of characters. The use of terminological combinations is characteristic for both types.
So, research showed that the Bulgakov's idiomatic phrases is various and differs according to the contents, lexical structure, grammatical structure and stylistic functioning.
In this paper, among its many features I analyze lexical peculiarities and functional-stylistic features of the idioms. I think that trying to study the language of these writers is important for understanding the russian language. Through this study we will be able to show a new perspective on the russian phraseological units, and to grasp the functions and the meanings of idioms in the M. Bulgakov’s works. When learning a foreign language, theses idioms, proverbs, maxims, familiar expression, cliches and etc. do not directly convey their meaning, so it is not easy to understand the idiom’s intention. For this reason studying of idioms is of great importance and high relevance.
