플립드 러닝을 활용한 교양 한국어 듣기 수업의 효용성 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Liberal Arts Korean Listening Class Using Flipped Learning)

초록

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effectiveness of flipped learning classes by examining the impact of Korean listening classes using flipped learning on improving the skills of international students and investigating their perception of flipped learning. For this purpose, a Korean listening proficiency test and a vocabulary self-diagnosis evaluation were conducted twice on middle and advanced international students. In addition, pre- and post-surveys and interviews were conducted to examine the perception of flipped learning. As a result of the analysis, the listening proficiency scores improved in both groups in the second survey, and the improvement in proficiency was especially large for intermediate learners. In the vocabulary diagnostic evaluation, vocabulary skills improved in both groups, and the improvement in advanced learners was especially greater. Next, in the survey, interest in flipped learning, willingness to participate in classes, and usefulness of self-directed learning increased significantly in the post-test. In addition, self-confidence in inspiring learning motivation and interest, and improving listening skills and vocabulary also increased. In addition, as a result of analyzing the interview data, the interview participants were continuously performing prior learning and individual learning through flipped learning, and were experiencing meaningful learning as self-directed learning was possible through this. Above all, the participants were greatly influenced by this learning experience in improving their Korean language skills and confidence.
