초록

생태미술은 대지미술, 지구미술, 환경미술 이후에 출현했다. 이 과정은 인간이 자연을 폭압적으로 착취한 것에 대한 반성적 기류이며, 내실은 과학적 사고에 기반한다. 즉, 생태미학 출현은 과학이 이 세계를 이해하는 중심 연구과제가 되면서부터다. 생물학 연구를 통해 지구환경 파괴가 곧바로 인간 삶의 지속가능성을 닫고 있음을 알게 되었기 때문이다. 이런 관점에서 생태미학은 두 가지 전제를 내포한다. 첫째, 유기체적 시각을 수용함으로써 인간은 자연의 일부라는 사실을 인지해야 한다. 둘째, 그동안 자연을 착취하며 황폐시킨 인간의 잘못에 대한 반성을 촉구해야 한다.
상대적으로 동양의 생태미학은 인간의 자유로운 생태계 참여를 유도한다. 생명을 대하는 태도를 말하고 있고, 균형(中和)으로 인간 스스로 자연 상태에 이른다. 생태미학이 추구하는 균형감각을 서양에서는 생물학이란 과학에서 획득했다. 하지만 동양의 과학은 자연의 균형감각을 주관적 진실로 포착해 사회문화 전반에 투영시킨 사회학이다. 서양의 과학은 실험의 결과지만, 동양의 과학은 생태계의 활동성을 감각적으로 체득한다. 인간과 자연은 둘이면서 하나의 상태로 여겼기 때문에, 어떻게 하면 자연의 상태를 유지하는지를 연구했다. 그건 마음에 대한 연구였고, 동시에 천지자연에 대한 이해며, 모든 사물은 살아 있다는, 즉 활물로 보는 시선이다. 생명을 천지의 본성으로 개괄한다. 자연 상태의 인간은 품격으로 말해지고, 품격은 자연인으로서 자연 상태로 노니는 것으로 설명된다. 이 점이 서양의 생태미학 구조와 차이다.
나는 마음과 자연이 하나가 되어 노정하는 상태를 心然의 생태미학으로 규정한다. 서양의 생태미학이 추구하는 유기체적 세계관과 동양의 생태미학은 많음 부분이 결합된다. 기본적으로 생태미학은 지난날 인간의 과오에 대한 반성으로부터 새로운 인간으로 거듭나게 하는 것이 핵심적 의제이며, 이를 위해 유기체론과 도덕적 책임 문제의식을 구조화한다. 동양미학은 이 부분, 즉 인간과 자연의 관계를 화해라는 질서로 해결하는데, 그 방방은 이 세계 모든 비-유기체를 존중하는 것에 있다. 다만, 받아들이는 크기에 따라 大人과 小人으로 구분할 뿐이다. 생태윤리적 시각에서 보면, 자연의 생명 활동을 지속 가능한 상태로 이동시키는데 인간을 참여케 한다. 그건 마음과 자연의 일치로 자유를 획득한 자연인이 자연 상태로 노니는 것이다. 동양의 생태미학에서의 인간은 자연의 일부이면서 동시에 자연의 총화로서 활동이 자유롭다는 점에서다. 이 점은 동양미학의 특장이자, 또 다른 양태로 발전이 가능한 생태미학의 모델이라고 본다.

영어초록

Ecological art emerged after earth art, earth art, and environmental art. This process is based on scientific thought. It is a reflective air about human exploitation and tyrannical behavior of nature, and ultimately leaves open the sustainability of human life in the wake of the spread of ecological and ethical thinking. In this light, art must meet two premises if it is to be captured as ecological aesthetics. First, it should be recognized that humans are part of nature by embracing organic perspectives. Second, we should urge reflection on human wrongs that have exploited and ravaged nature. Providing this perspective is a scientist's contribution. Thus, the emergence of ecology aesthetics comes as science has become a central research project to understand the world.
Relatively, the ecological aesthetics of the East are freely acquiring alternatives. He speaks in a life-threatening manner, and with balance he reaches his own natural state. The balance of western ecological aesthetics is obtained from science of biology, but Oriental science is the sociology that captures the sense of balance of nature with subjective truth and projects it throughout social culture. Western science is the result of experimentation, but Eastern science proves to be sensitively acquiring ecological activism. We studied how to maintain the state of nature, since humans and nature considered one condition in two. It was a study of the mind, and at the same time an understanding of the celestial sphere, and a view of all things as life and life forms, or life forms. sum up life in the nature of heaven and earth A man of natural state is described as a man of dignity, and a man of dignity as a natural person, playing in a state of nature. This point differs from the structure of western ecology aesthetics. I define the state of mind and nature as one of the ecological aesthetics of mind covering nature(心然).
Although it is pointed out that Eastern philosophy and aesthetics lack objectivity However, if it is combined with the organic world view pursued by ecology aesthetics, if it is to be reborn as a new human from a reflection on past mistakes, then the organic system structured by ecology aesthetics and the moral responsibility problem consciousness are valid principles and rituals that are also valid within the Oriental The relationship between man and nature has changed from vertical to horizontal, acquiring a reconciliatory order from nature and returning it to the state of nature. If the ecological system is defined, at least from a sociological perspective, and some sociological viewpoints are intended to involve humans in a sustainable state, the ecological aesthetic view of 心然, which has gained freedom through harmony between mind and nature, is a feature of Oriental aesthetics and a model of ecology that can develop into another pattern.
