돈과 재물에 대한 통합적 인식과 상호관계적인 영성 (Comprehensive Cognition and Spirituality of Mutuality about Money and Wealth)

초록

성숙한 영성적 삶을 사는 자는 돈과 재물에 대해 통합적인 인식과 균형 잡힌 가치관에 기초하여 우주만물이 상호관계적임을 안다. 본 논문의 목적은 만물은 상호연결과 상호 관계적이라는 사실에 기초하여 돈과 재물 소유에 대한 바른 인식, 즉 통합적 인식과 상호관계적인 영성을 가지게 하려는 데 있다.
모든 것에는 독과 영양분이 함께 공존한다. 돈과 재물도 마찬가지이다. 신구약의 말씀은 돈과 재물의 해로운 면과 유익한 면을 동시에 가르친다. 본 논문은 물질에 대한 어두운 면, 즉 독소적인 면을 살펴본 후 밝은 면, 영양분의 역할에 관하여 제시하였다. 그리고 어두운 면과 밝은 면을 어떻게 영성적으로 통합해야 하는가를 다루었다. 청교도들은 그들의 생활양식에서 돈과 재물에 대한 독소와 양분을 통합하는 방안을 발견하였을 뿐만 아니라, 실천하였다. 청교도들은 부요는 전적으로 하나님의 선물로 보았으며, 인간은 하나님이 주신 것을 관리하는 청지기라고 생각했다.
돈과 재물에 대한 강박적인 탐욕을 가지는 것은 무의식적으로 자기 파괴와 대상파괴를 하는 행위이다. 소유에 대한 강박적인 탐욕을 가진 자들은 자기만족에 기초되어 있으므로 상호연결과 상호의존에서 나오는 긍휼의 영성을 그들에게서 찾을 수가 없다. 인간의 존엄성을 말살하는 경제법칙은 제거되어야 하며, 새로운 대안이 나와야 한다. 그 새로운 대안이 긍휼의 영성에 기초한 경제학이다. 긍휼의 영성은 상호연결과 상호관계적인 세계관에 기초한다. 그러므로 돈과 재물에 대한 올바른 방향은 개인주의와 국가주의를 넘어선 지구촌 상호연결, 상호의존적 관계성을 인식하고 실천하는 데로 나아가야 한다. 지구촌 사람들은 상호 연결되어 있으며, 상호 의존되어 있음을 알 때 돈은 더 이상 인간들의 신(Mammon)의 자리에 앉아 군림하거나 숭배를 받을 수가 없게 될 것이다. 지구촌 경제학은 모든 국가와 민족이 한 집에서 사는 공동체의 일원임을 깨닫고 긍휼의 영성적 삶을 실천하는 것을 의미한다.
이와 같은 통합적 인식을 가진 자는 부요한 자와 가난한 자에 대하여 편견이나 왜곡됨이 없이 진정으로 소유를 넘어 참된 나눔과 관용의 삶을 살게 된다.

영어초록

Someone who matured and lives spiritual life can know all things in the universe are mutuality based comprehensive cognition about money and wealth and balanced values on. The purpose of this paper is find proper attitude to own money and wealth in other words, comprehensive cognition and spirituality of mutuality through the teachings of spirituality.
The poison coexist with the nutrient within all things in the universe. It is applied into money and wealth. The Old and New Testaments teach us harmful part and beneficial part about money and wealth at the same time. In this paper the beneficial part, that is to say nutrient about money and wealth will be presented after examine its harmful part, that is to say poison. After that it will be dealt with how can integrate its dark side and bright side spiritually. In their lifestyle, Puritans took action not only found the way to integrate poison and nutrient about money and wealth. They believed money and wealth was entirely God's gift. And they believed that human beings are stewards for management about God's gift.
Having Obsessive greed toward money and wealth is the act of self-destruction and object-destruction unconsciously. It can be found the spirituality of compassion which from interconnection and interdependence from who have obsessive greed toward possession based on self-satisfaction. Economic laws what destroy the dignity of the human being should be removed and it needs an alternative solution. That alternative solution is new economics, based on the spirituality of compassion. Spirituality of compassion is based on a view of the world with interconnection and mutual relations. Therefore, beyond the individualism and nationalism, the proper attitude about money and wealth reaches to recognize and practice global interconnection and interdependent relationship. Money and wealth no longer worshiped or be seated as God(Mammon) when it found that people are interconnected and interdepended in global. Global economic sense means that realize all country and nations are members of the community in one house, the earth and practice spirituality of compassion in life. Someone who have such an integrated awareness can live with genuine will of sharing and generosity beyond the bias or distortion about the poor and the rich.
