한국독서치료학회지 『독서치료연구』의 2004(창간호)~2020년 간의 연구동향 (Research Trends of the Journal of Bibliotherapy by the Korean Association of Bibliotherapy)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국독서치료학회지인 『독서치료연구』에 창간년도(2004)부터 2020년까지 게재된 논문들을 통해 독서치료의 연구동향을 분석하고 미래의 독서치료 연구방향을 예견하기 위함이다. 수집된 117건의 자료를 연도, 발달단계, 연구방법, 연구주제, 학문영역, 학술등급, 연구대상자 수, 치료회기의 분석기준에 따라 분석하였다. 연도별 게재논문을 분석한 결과, 등재지, 등재후보지, 전국규모 일반학술지 등급 기간 순으로 연간 게재논문수가 높았고 연간 게재호수도 증가하였다. 대상자의 발달단계로는 중년기, 아동기, 유아기, 청소년, 청년기 순으로 높았다. 연구방법으로는 문헌, 질적, 양적 연구 순으로 높았다. 연구 주제로는 치료적 접근, 치료매체/기법, 심리정서, 자아, 사회성, 가족, 장애/질환, 텍스트, 학업관련, 프로그램 순의 빈도를 보였다. 치료회기는 1~50회기까지 넓은 스펙트럼을 보였으며, 빈도는 12회기, 10/8회기, 4회기 순이었다. 참여자 수는 6-10명, 2-5명, 60명 이상, 11-20명 순으로 높았다. 연구 결과, 양적 연구를 위한 연구대상자가 미확보된 연구물, 다양한 표현예술치료적 접근과 독서치료와의 상관성에 대한 이론적 고찰과 논의 부재 등의 문제점이 확인되었다. 그리고 새로운 분류체계인 복합학으로서의 독서치료의 학문적 특성이 새롭게 등장하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of articles published in the “Journal of Bibliotherapyl” published by the of Korean Association of Bibliotherapy, to explore and analyze past and present academic research trends of bibliotherapy-related research, and to foresee the direction of research trends of bibliotherapy in the future as well. In this study 114 articles and 3 book reviews published in the Journal of Bibliotherapy during 2004-2020, were analyzed. Collected data were analyzed by the following criteria: of publication year, developmental stages of subjects/participants, methods, themes, academic areas of ​​researchers, number of the subjects/participants, and sessions for group bibliotherapies. Annual analysis revealed that the research frequency was in descending order of academic levels by selected registered candidates, and non-registered journals. The research frequency of developmental stages of subjects/participants were in the descending order of the middle-aged, school aged, preschoolers, adolescence, and youth. The research methods of literature, qualitative, and quantitative research were listed in the descending order of frequency. Research topics included the following: diverse expressive arts therapeutic approaches, treatment media/techniques, psycho-emotional issues, self-related, sociability, family related, disability/disease, text related, academic achievement, and diverse programs. As for treatment sessions, the researchers usually implemented their treatment in series of 12, 10 or 8, and 4 sessions, in the descending order of frequency. Treatment sessions showed a broad-spectrum range of 1-50 sessions. Quantitative research without a minimum number of subjects was found and examined. In qualitative studies, participant groups of 2-5, 6-10, 11-20, and 60 or more were listed in descending order of frequency as group counseling members for bibliotherapy. Correlation between various expressive art therapeutic approaches and bibliotherapy should be fundamentally considered and discussed to help balance and integrate characteristics of bibliotherapy into interdisciplinary perspectives. With these ideas in mind “Complex science”, a new classification of bibliotherapy since 2014, needs to be further studied.
