가정간호서비스 이용 노인의 간호 요구도, 사회적 지지 및 서비스 이용 만족도간의 관계 (The Relationships among Patient Needs, Social Support, and Patient Satisfaction with Service in Elderly using Home Health Nursing)

초록

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the degree of and relationship among patient needs, social support, and patient satisfaction in elderly home health nursing users. Methods: A descriptive survey was administered in elderly individuals receiving home-care nursing services selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires between April 18 and May 3, 2024. Data analyses included descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analyses. Result: The analysis included 134 responses. Satisfaction with home health nursing showed significant differences according to the duration of service use (t=-2.66, p=0.09). Patient satisfaction was higher among those who had used the service for ≥ 24 months. Analysis of the relationships among patient needs, social support, and patient satisfaction revealed that service satisfaction had a significant positive correlation with the patient needs and social support sub-factors. The factors influencing satisfaction with home health nursing were psychosocial patient needs (β=0.25, p=.002), a patient needs sub-factor, and social support sub-factors, including medical professionals support (β=0.32, p<.001). Conclusion: Psychosocial patient needs and medical recognition support are significant factors influencing patient satisfaction among elderly home health nursing users. Therefore, home health nurses should provide comprehensive care that includes physical health management and mental and social support. Additionally, a strategic approach is needed to provide professional medical services and accurate information to elderly home-care patients.
