중요도-성취도(IPA)분석을 통한 수요자 중심의 스포츠이벤트 매력성 분석 (Analysis on Consumer-oriented Sports Event' Attractiveness through the application of IPA)

초록

이 연구는 2009년 6월 13일부터 14일까지 경상남도 통영에서 개최된 한산대첩기 국민생활체육 전국남녀배구대회의 참가선수를 대상으로 하였으며, 스포츠이벤트의 중요도-성취도(IPA) 분석을 통해 참여스포츠이벤트의 매력적인 요소를 도출하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 아울러 최종분석에는 233부의 자료가 사용되었으며, 도출된 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중요도의 상위 10개 문항은 ①개최지역의 자연환경, ②대회명성 및 이미지, ③개최지역의 특색 및 특징, ④대회종사원 서비스, ⑤대회의 재미와 신명성, ⑥대회장소 청결 및 쾌적성, ⑦대회안내 및 정보, ⑧대회의 몰입성, ⑨대회의 체험성, ⑩대회를 통한 타인만남으로 나타났으며, 성취도의 상위 10개 문항은 ①개최지역의 자연경관, ②대회명성 및 이미지, ③개최지역의 특색 및 특징, ④대회종사원 서비스, ⑤대회안내 및 정보, ⑥대회의 재미와 신명성, ⑦대회장소 청결 및 쾌적성, 대회의 몰입성, ⑧대회를 통한 타인만남 ⑨대회의 체험성, 개최지역의 안전, ⑩대회의 특이성 및 독특함으로 나타났다. 둘째, 매력성이 높은 스포츠이벤트 개최를 위해 지속적으로 유지가 필요한 Ⅰ사분면은 대회장소 청결 및 쾌적성, 대회명성 및 이미지, 대회안내 및 정보, 대회 종사원 서비스, 대회를 통한 타인만남, 대회의 재미와 신명성, 체험성, 몰입성, 그리고 개최지역의 안전, 자연경관, 개최지역의 특색 및 특징 등의 11개 변수로 나타났고, 우선적으로 시정해야 할 Ⅱ사분면은 개최지역의 다양성, 이벤트 지역주민 태도, 개최지역 숙박시설 등의 3개 변수로 나타났다. 마지막으로 낮은 우선순위인 Ⅲ사분면은 대회장소의 휴식공간, 개최지역의 야간활동, 대회의 교육적 가치, 대회의 특이성과 독특함, 개최지역의 물가나 비용, 개최지역의 쇼핑, 먹거리/음식, 기념품/토산품, 접근성, 교통편리 등의 10개 변수로 나타났다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to find out attractive factors of sports event through IPA analysis, and with the survey of 233 players who participated in Hansandaecheop Volleyball Match that was hosted by Sports for All through July 13th to 14th, 2009. In this study, 233 questionnaires were used, the results were as follows: firstly, the top ten factors of importance are like that : first, landscape of the event site, second, image and reputation of the event, third, features of the event site, fourth, service of the event staff, fifth, fun and high spirits of the event, sixth, cleanliness of the event site , seventh, guide and information about the event, eighth, immersion of the event, ninth, chance of experience in the event site, tenth, meeting and communication with other person through the event. And the top ten factors of performance are like that : first, landscape of the event site, second, image and reputation of the event, third, features of the event site, fourth, service of the event staff, fifth, guide and information about the event, sixth, fun and high spirits of the event, seventh, cleanliness of the event site and immersion of the event, eighth, cleanliness of the event site, ninth, chance of experience in the event site and safety in the event site, tenth, peculiarity of the event.
Secondly, in the upper-right quadrant of the diagram, that needs to continue for highly attractive sports event, sports event 11 factors come out : cleanliness of the event site, image and reputation of the event, guide and information about the event, service of the event staff, meeting and communication with other person through the event, fun and high spirits of the event, chance of experience, immersion of the event, safety in the event site, landscape of the event site and features of the event site. In the upper-left quadrant of the diagram that needs to be corrected first, there are three factors as follows : varieties of the event site, residents' attitude in the event site, accommodation of the event site. Lastly, in the lower-left quadrant that means low priority, there are 10 factors as follows : resting place of the event site, events or activities that is held at night in the event site, educational value of the event. peculiarity of the event, living price and expense in the event site, shopping in the event site, foods, souvenir/local product, access, convenience of traffic system.
