원천콘텐츠 <백설공주>의 현대적 변용에 나타나는 여성상 변화 연구 - 영화 <스노우 화이트 앤 더 헌츠맨>을 중심으로 (Research for female archetype change in modern transformation of the original content - Focused on the film )

초록

원천콘텐츠 <백설공주>의현대적 변용에 나타나는 여성상 변화 연구- 영화 <스노우 화이트 앤 더 헌츠맨>을 중심으로이채론문화산업은 경제적 가치를 산정하기 어려운 분야다. 하지만 성공한 콘텐츠는 이후 원천콘텐츠로서 매체전환을 통해 확장 재생산 되면서 OSMU로서 부가가치를 창출한다. .우선 하나의 콘텐츠가 성공적인 성과를 보이는것이 중요하며, 훌륭한 콘텐츠일지라도 매체전환의 과정에서 각 매체의 성격과 콘텍스트에 대한 이해가 부족하면 다양한 매체에서 활용되어 보다 많은 부가가치를 생산하기에 어려움을 겪는다. 보다 높은 경제적 가치를 산출해 낼 수 있는 콘텐츠의 발생은 훌륭한 원천콘텐츠에 대한 이해가 수반되어야 함에 주목하며 본 논문의 연구는 시작된다.
그림형제의 KHM은 지속적으로 활용되는 원천콘텐츠로서 어린아이들을위한 콘텐츠로 활용된 지 오래이며, 그 중 <백설공주>는 KHM의 다른 작품들 보다 많은 각색과 전환이 이루어진 작품이다. 2012년은 <백설공주> 탄생 200주년이 되는 해로, 할리우드에서는 <백설공주>를 모티프로 한 작품두 편이 동시에 개봉이 되는 전례를 남겼다. 각 작품은 기본 플롯은 동일하지만 영상의 색감이나 의상, 캐릭터의 구현에 차이점을 드러냈다. 이 중, 어린아이들의 전유물로 여겨졌던 동화 콘텐츠가 대중매체로 전이되는 과정에서 발생된 가장 눈에 띄는 특성은 KHM의 원형소스가 된 독일민담의 특성이 부각된 점이다. 이는 민담이 본래 성인들이 향유하던 대상이었으며, 인간이 가진 본질적인 욕망이 내포함을 상징한다. 시대와 소구대상에 알맞게 변용되는 원천콘텐츠는 인간이 가진 본질적인 욕망과 연계되어 있으며 이러한특성에 민담의 잔혹성이 존재함을 확인하는 것이 본 논문의 첫 연구 내용이다.
이러한 잔혹성과 함께 현대 사회와 과거 사회와 가장 대비되는 특성으로여성상의 차별점이 자리하는 것을 확인하기 위해 과거 KHM에서 연구된 여성상 유형의 변화를 확인하고자 한다. 이에 독일 민담의 본질적 속성인 잔혹성과 여성 캐릭터의 변화가 가장 극명하게 드러나는 영화 <스노우 화이트 앤 더 헌츠맨>을 분석 대상으로 선정, 통시적으로 활용 가능한 콘텐츠로서 <백설공주>의 가치를 조명하고, 현대 영상매체에서 변화된 여성상을 구체적으로 비교하기 위해 마녀와 계모, 수동적인 여성의 행동, 그리고 <백설공주>가 가진 통과제의 의식 형상을 분석 항목으로 정했다.
오랜 세월 전승되어오는 과정 속에서도 사라지지 않고 콘텐츠로 개발되고활용되는 민담이 가지는 특성은 시대를 넘어 순환하고 있는 인간의 유희와경계선상에 있다. 이를 바탕으로 통시대적으로 가치 있는 원천콘텐츠의 발굴 및 개발에 방향성을 제시하는데 본 논문의 의의를 둔다.

영어초록

Research for female archetype change in modern transformation of the original content <Snow white> - Focused on the film <Snow white and the huntsman> Lee, Chae-Ron Culture industry is a difficult field to measure economic value.
However, successful content generates additional values as OSMU by reproduced through changes of media as original content later.
First, it is important to have one content showing successful achievement and although it is an excellent content, if understanding of each media and context in progress of converting media is insufficient, it will have difficulties of creating more of additional values using various medias. This research for thesis begins with having attention to creation of content able to generate higher economic value must have understanding of excellent original content.
The KHM of Grimm brothers has been used as content for children for time time as continuously used original content and the <Snow white> is the work with adaptation and transition more than any other work of KHM. The <Snow white> has celebrated its 200th years anniversaryin 2012 and there were two film works having <Snow white> as its motive in hollywood at the same time.
Each film work has same basic plot but has different screen color, costume and implementation of characters. Among these, the most noticeable characteristic occurred in progress of fairy tale content known as children's preserves being transferred to public media is highlighted characteristic of german folk tale became original source of KHM. This means that the folk tale was originally adult enjoying target and it contains intrinsic human desire internally.
The original content transforms proper to era and tabor is connected to intrinsic human desire and the first content in research of this thesis is to exam existence of folk tale's cruelty in such characteristic.
With these cruelty as most contrasting characteristic from modern society and historical society, I would wish to exam changes of female archetype studied in previous KHM to confirm distinction of female archetype existed. Therefore, I have selected the film <Snow white and the huntsman> which shows cruelty that is intrinsic property of german folk tale and changes of female character as analysis target, and to highlight value of <Snow white> as generally useable content and to compare changed female archetype in modern media detailly, selected conscious shape of whole task that witch and step mother, passive behavior of female and <Snow white> have as analysis itmes.
Characteristic of folk tale developed and used without disappearing in progress of passing down for long time is on borderline with human amusement that circulating over generations.
Based on these, this thesis has meaning on excavation of valuable source content and on providing direction of development in whole generation.
