화경관(景觀)이미지 향상을 위한 환경 색채디자인 제안 연구 - 경기도 도.농 복합 화성시(華城市)를 중심으로 - (Research on Environmental Color Designs for Landscape Improvement - Focusing on Hwaseong, a mixed city with urban and nural characteristics, in Gyeonggi-do Province -)

초록

경관관리는 도시와 농어촌지역의 독특한 자연과 역사·문화를 나타내는 중요한 자산으로 아름다운 국토를 보전·형성하기 위한 시대적 과제이다. 최근 도시와 농촌은 산업화의 과정을 겪으면서 훼손되고 자연경관과 인공경관에 대한 조화되지 않은 문제점을 지적할 수 있다. 경기도에 위치한 도·농 복합 화성시는 천혜환경이 주는 경관을 통해 다수의 개발 사업들이 혼재되어 진행 중이며 발전 잠재력이 부각된 곳이다. 하지만 최근 급속한 개발과정을 겪으면서 지역 내의 환경의 급격한 변화를 반영하지 못하여 환경색채에 대한 혼란스러운 경관이 노출되고 있다. 따라서 다양한 개발이 진행중인 화성시의 서부권역에 속하는 비봉면과 서신면을 중심으로 경관이미지 향상을 위한 환경 색채디자인을 고찰하고 비교 분석하였다. 먼저 현황조사에 의하여 도출된 전체 색상범위는 7.5R-7.5PB(비봉면), 2.5R-7.5PB(서신면)에 해당하고, 명도는 1-9, 채도의 분포는 10의 범위까지 포함하고 있었다. 따라서 비봉면은 녹지의 분포가 서신면은 넓은 영역에 수변 경관이 분포되어 있지만 색상, 명도, 채도의 색채 분포도에서는 크게 차이를 보이지 않으며 고채도, 중명도가 전역에 산만하게 분포되어 경관이 형성되었음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 경관이미지 향상을 위한 환경 색채디자인 제안에서는 자연과 융화되며 친화적인 지역 고유 색채이미지를 적용하여 제안하였으며 주조색은 자연환경의 색채가 반영되어 있는 Y, GY계열의 색채로 제시하였다. 그리고 무질서하게 혼재된 지붕색은 각 지역의 자연환경의 특성을 반영하여 토양색으로 추출하였으며 Y, YR계열 색상내에서 명도와 채도를 고려한 색상을 제안하였다. 건축외관의 색채는 비봉면의 수목에서 추출된 GY계열의 색상을 강조색에 적용하고, 서신면의 색채는 자연의 수변요소에서 도출된 G, PB계열의 색상을 강조색에 제안하여 수변과의 조화를 이루도록 계획하였다. 옥외광고물의 주조색은 건축외관색채와 유사계열의 색상을 권장하며, 건축외관색채의 보조색에서 추출된 색상의 톤 조절을 통해 지역의 통일성과 정온한 환경 색채디자인을 제안하였다.

영어초록

Landscapes are important assets that can represent a given area's distinct nature, history and culture. As such, landscape management is an important issue where the preservation and/or formation of a beautiful homeland is concerned. In recent years, cities and rural areas have been damaged due to the process of industrialization, and their natural and man-made landscapes are not in harmony. In Hwaseong, which is an urban rural composite city located in Gyeonggido Province, several development projects are being carried out by utilizing its beautiful natural environment, and the development potential of the city is attracting considerable attention. However, in the course of Hwaseong's rapid development, such projects have not reflected the rapidly changing environment of the region. As a result, landscapes that are not in harmony with the surrounding environmental colors have been created. For this study, comparative analyses of environmental color designs were conducted with a view to improving the landscape images of the Bibong-myeon and Seosin-myeon areas, which are located in the southern part of Hwaseong City. According to an onsite survey of the areas, the overall color range was 7.5R-7.5PB for Bibong-myeon and 2.5R-7.5PB for Seosin-myeon; brightness was 1-9; and the distribution of chroma reached 10. Bibong-myeon was found to have a wide distribution of green land, whereas Seosin-myeon had a wide distribution of water landscapes. However, no significant discrepancy was found between the two areas in terms of the distribution of colors, brightness, and chroma. A high chroma and a mid-range of brightness were distributed widely across the landscape of the entire area. Accordingly, regarding environmental color designs aimed at improving the image of the local landscape, this study proposes the application of the original color image of an environmentally-friendly area and the use of the Y and GY color series as major colors in order to reflect the color of the natural environment. With regard to disorderly-looking roof colors, the soil color of each area was derived from analyses so as to reflect the characteristics of the natural environmental in each area, and the Y and YR color series were recommended after considering the brightness and chroma of the color tone. For the exterior color of buildings, the GY color series, derived from trees in Bibong-myeon, was proposed for the major colors, whereas the G and PB color series, which were derived from the waterfront element of the natural environment, were suggested as accentuation colors for Seosin-myeon. As for the dominant colors of the outdoor advertising signs, a series of colors similar to the exterior colors of buildings were recommended. This study proposed a tranquil environmental color design to achieve uniformity of colors in the two regions by adjusting the color tones derived from the secondary color of the exterior building colors.
