초록

野談의 奇異性에 대한 硏究는 기존의 事實性에 치우친 연구의 偏向性을 극복하고, 야담의 形成과 正體性을 해명해 줄 수 있는 緊要한 작업이다. 前代 敍事의 奇異談과 辨別되는 野談 奇異談의 特徵을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 前代 敍事의 奇異談에 비해 世俗化現實化되어가는 傾向이 뚜렷하다. 또한 야담 奇異談에 등장하는 鬼神은 前代의 서사에 등장하는 鬼神에 비해 陽性化戱畵化되어 나타난다. 人鬼의 制限的 交流와 奇異요소의 附隨的 사용에서 보듯이 野談에서의 奇異 요소는 서사에서 本質的 가치를 가지지 못하며, 서사화 과정에서 사실성과 融和되어 나타난다. 또한 傳奇에서 주로 볼 수 있는 人鬼交歡型 男女結緣談 대신에 現實的인 男女結緣談이 야담에서 주로 나타난다. 傳의 형식적 잔영인 야담의 評語는 編者의 觀點을 나타내며, 奇異談에 대한 否定的 評語는 때로 奇異談에 대한 沒入과 審美的 享受에 制限要因이 될 수도 있다.

영어초록

The study of the mythical and strange character of Yadam is the vital work that can overcome the biased character of study inclined to the verisimilitude and can explain the formation and identity of Yadam. The summary of characteristic of Yadam the story of mythical and strange that is discriminated from the story of mythical and strange of former ages narrative is as follows. It tend to be secularized and be actualized definitely more than the story of mythical and strange of former ages narrative. Herein the mythical and strange is used to realized the Confucian ideology and to solve difficult problems of reality, the theory of configuration of the ground is a representative type of secularization and actualization of Yadam. The ghost appeared in the story of mythical and strange of Yadam is also presented with bringing into the open and making a comic picture than the ghost appeared in former ages narrative, and as being shown in the limited interchange of human and the incidental use of factor of mythical and strange, the factor of mythical and strange in Yadam has nonessential values.
Furthermore the realistic the story of connection between man and woman that overcomes realistic difficulty or that frustrates the reality is presented usually in Yadam instead of the story of connection between man and woman seen in JeonGi, which is the type of the exchange between human and ghost. A comment of Yadam that is the formal trace of Jeon can be the formal superfluity that limit and aftertaste to readers who enjoy the story of mythical and strange.
