학부모교육 프로그램 개발 연구 동향 분석 – 2010년∼2018년 논문을 중심으로 - (Analysis on Trends in Development and Research of Education Program for Parents- Focused on papers between 2010 and 2018 -)

초록

본 연구는 학부모교육 프로그램 개발 관련 논문의 연구 동향을 분석하여 학부모교육 프로그램의 다양화를 촉진하기 위한 시사점을 도출하고자, 2010년부터 2018년까지 학술지 논문 60편, 석사학위 논문 29편, 박사학위 논문 26편, 총 115편을 선정하여 분석하였다.
학부모교육 프로그램 내용은 국가평생교육진흥원(2012)의 ‘학부모교육과정기준’을 준거로 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 부모 역량 강화 영역 56.7%, 자녀 이해 강화 영역 43.3%, 학교·교사 이해 영역 0.0%로 나타났다. 또한, 연구 대상 자녀 학령별 학부모교육 프로그램 개발 분석 결과, 전 학령(유치원생부터 고등학생까지) 부모 대상 35.7%, 유치원생 부모대상 33.0%, 초등학생 부모대상 25.2%, 중학생 부모대상 5.2%, 고등학생 부모대상 0.9% 순으로 드러났다.
이와 같은 결과는 최근 9년 동안 학부모교육 프로그램 개발이 활성화되고 있지만, 반면 자녀의 성장 발달 단계별 학부모교육 프로그램의 균형적인 개발은 상대적으로 매우 미미하며, 가족 특성을 고려한 다양한 프로그램 개발과 학교 및 교사를 이해하는 영역 관련 프로그램 개발 연구도 소수임이 확인되었다.
본 연구는 급변하는 사회에서 효과적인 학부모교육을 위해서는 가족 특성을 고려한 프로그램 개발, 청소년 문제 예방 및 처방을 위한 중학생과 고등학생 자녀발달 연령별 학부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 부모가 학교 및 교사를 이해하는 프로그램 개발이 매우 절실하다는 점을 제시하고 있다.

영어초록

In this study, a total of 115 papers, including 60 journal papers, 29 master's thesis and 26 doctoral dissertations from 2010 to 2018, were selected and analyzed, for drawing implications for promoting development of education program diversification for parents through analysis on research trends of papers regarding developing the education program for parents.
The education program for parents were selected based on the “curriculum standards for Parents” of National Institute for Lifelong Education (2012). The result of such analysis is as follows: the capacity building area of parents is 56.7%; the capacity building area of understanding children is 43.3%; the capacity building area of understanding teachers is 0.0%.
In addition, according to the analysis on developing education program for parents by grade of the children, the subject of studies, it appears in the following order: parents of all grades (Kindergarten to high school students) are 35.7%, parents of kindergarten students are 33.0%, parents of elementary school students are 25.2%, parents of middle school students are 5.2%, and parents of high school students are 0.9%.
For recent 9 years, this result thereof has shown that the education programs for parents has been actively developed, while the education programs for parents according to each child’s growth and development stage is relatively insignificant in terms of the balanced development, and there are also are very few studies on the development of various programs considering family characteristics and the development of programs related to the area understanding schools and teachers.
This study suggests that it is very necessary to develop the programs considering family characteristics, the education programs for parents by development age of children, being middle school students and high school students, for preventing and prescribing adolescent problems, and the programs in which parents understand schools and teachers, for the effective education for parents in a rapidly changing society.
