체육계열 전공자의 진로 활성화 방안 (Career Invigoration Measures for Students Majoring in Sports, Exercise, and Physical Education)

초록

In this paper, the results of the research that was conducted with the aim of identifying career invigoration measures for Sports, Exercise, and Physical Education(SEPE) graduates, through references, statistical data, survey, and expert consultation, are presented.
For the career invigoration measures for the SEPE graduates, the following are proposed: ① with consideration given to student aptitude and talent, early start of the major studies and early career training should be carried out; ② a career training infrastructure should be set up by each SEPE majoring unit or department, along with a roadmap; ③ by establishing connections with the other university units and with the external community, a career training external infrastructure should be put in place; ④ the SEPE-related national accreditation should be diversified with the expansion of the applications; ⑤ a societal infrastructure should be set up for the transition from temporary to full-time workers, and for reemployment; ⑥ major-related occupation categories should be developed, with the provision of employment opportunities in similar areas for non-majors; ⑦ efforts should be exerted by SEPE-related public organizations for the expansion of the SEPE-related graduates; ⑧ adjustment between the supply of and demand for SEPE teachers should be made; ⑨ the number of students majoring in SEPE-related fields should be reduced, and their expertise should be enhanced; ⑩ a national-level support system for sport-business-related self-employees should be set up; and ⑪ a network for the creation of SEPE-related jobs should be created.
