초록

이 논문은 나눔의 정신을 초등학교 아동들에게 어떻게 교육할 것인가에 대해 세 부분으로 나누어 제시하였다. 첫째, 아동의 특징을 분석하고, 나눔의 정신을 가르치는 데 유의해야 할 점에 대해 진술하였다. 둘째, 나눔의 정신을 가르친다는 것은 먼저 나눔이 기독교의 본질임을 알고, 나눔의 중요성을 깨달을 뿐 아니라 실천하도록 이끌어주는 것이다. 먼저, 나눔에 대한 기독교 유산을 가르치고 난 뒤에 내용을 구체화하여 실존적 삶의 근거가 되게 하고, 나아가 실천의 단계로 이끌어주어야 함을 지적하였다. 셋째, 어린이들에게 나눔을 가르치기 위한 구체적 방법을 제시하였다.

영어초록

One of the reasons why the church is negatively criticized in Korean society is not to practice the sharing, which is the essence of Christianity. I believe that it is derived from the reason why the church did not teach it and practice its life properly. This thesis is to concentrate on exploring the developmental features of elementary students to learn it. On their basis I divide the education for it and its application in life into the three parts.
Firstly, I state the developmental features of elementary students and the essential points to teach the spirit of sharing to them. Their cognitive developments are so limited that its teaching should be very concrete and practical to them. Since their having mythical world views mixed with phantasy, it is effective to teach and influence them with the method of story-telling and its related ways. And also it is noticeable that they have both the frustration about punishment and desire of compensation at the same time. The variety of artistic way of teaching is to be considered for them because of having their religious emotion and feeling.
Secondly, teaching the spirit of sharing is part of the essential nature of Christianity and church life. Therefore they should be led to be aware of its importance and to practice its life. For it the three steps should be provided as follows: 1) to teach the Christian heritages about sharing to them; 2) to put it into shape on their daily life; 3) and to lead them to practice it.
Thirdly, I deal with the concrete ways to teach them on three steps: 1) the first step is to use the ways of lectures, question-answer, discussion, and group discussion; 2) The next step is to use the ways of story-telling, case-studies and artistic devises; 3) The last step is to lead their positive participation and close network with those things mentioned above.
