초록

From generation to generation, the study on stone inscription literature originated in Han Dynasty, however it was considered that the most flourishing period of stone inscription literature was in both Song and Qing Dynasty. This research paper tries to examine the development of stone carving literature and research conditions from both Song and Qing Dynasty down to modern, analyze the content of the major writings and method of the study in Qianjia era closely, and establish the study of identity and scope on stone inscription literature within Chinese literature.
Stone inscriptions literature is the study which regards historical data inscribed on stone as the subject of study. It covers the content, period, name, place name, bureaucracy, funeral rites, historical facts, and varieties of the aspects. Among them, epitaph' writing and study became the mainstream of stone inscriptions literature. The writings of stone inscription scholars are an example of the results of the study that we can understand the results of the study through various writings and induce the method and theory of stone inscriptions literature.
The writings in Qing and Qianjia period when the study grew in prosperity - focused of compile a catalogue, historical research-preface and postscript, stone inscription character historical research, periodization stone inscription record, stone inscription synthesize research - attempt to be sorted out six categories and considered from the specific content and method of the study. In Qing Dynasty, Not only does the development of the skill of stone rubbing grant mature conditions to stone inscriptions literature but each stone inscriptions writing becomes a barometer of developmental level and ability of scholars on stone inscriptions literature.
