교양체육 테니스를 위한 포핸드 그라운드스트로크 평가도구 개발 및 객관도 검증 (The Development and Objectivity Test of Tennis Forehand Groundstroke Evaluation Tool for General Physical Education)

초록

교양체육 테니스 강의를 수강하는 대학생들이 전체적인 포핸드 그라운드스트로크의 주요한 동작을 쉽게 이해하고, 포핸드 그라운드스트로크 기술습득 및 평가에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초 자료를 제시하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 7인의 테니스 전문가가 평가도구 개발에 참여하였다. 또한 H대학교에서 2014년 1학기 교양체육으로 테니스를 수강한 비체육전공 남자대학생들을 대상으로 선정하였다. 평가도구에 제시된 구분동작의 세부사항을 중심으로 전체적인 동작 설명, 관련 동영상 시청 및 지도자의 시범을 통해 포핸드 그라운드스트로크에 관한 주요 사항을 익힌 후, 코치의 지도에 따라 16주간 주 1회 3시간씩 연습을 하였다. 평가자 5인이 포핸드 그라운드스트로크 평가도구의 내용타당도를 검증하였다. 평가자의 평가점수에 대한 객관도 검증을 위해 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여이원혼합모형을 적용하여 급내상관계수(Intraclass correlation coefficient)를 산출하였으며, 통계적 유의수준은 .05로 설정하였다. 이 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 평가점수의 평가자내 신뢰도에서 평가자 L은 r=.981, C1은 r=.960, C2는 r=.989, H는 r=.978, A는r=.981로 모두 매우 높게 나타났다(p=.001). 이러한 결과는 각 평가자의 테니스 포핸드 그라운드스트로크 평가가 안정되고 일관성이 있는 것을 의미한다. 또한 평가자간 신뢰도에서 각 평가자 간의 평균은 3.03부터 3.36까지, 표준편차는 .69부터 .81까지 분포함으로써 비슷한 양상을 보였으며, 평가자간 평균값도 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다(F=1.076, P=.370). 평가자 1인 측정의 신뢰도(single measure intraclass)가 r=.859이고, 여러 평가자들의 평정을 평균한 심사자평균 신뢰도(average measure intraclass)는 r=.968로평가자간 일치정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 통계 분석 결과는 연구에서 도출된 포핸드 그라운드스트로크 평가도구가 초보자인 대학생들의 효과적인 포핸드 그라운드스트로크의 기술습득 및 평가에 유용함을 보여주고 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of this paper is on presenting basic materials that can be utilized to assist college studentsin recreational tennis classes learn the key motions of the overall forehand groundstrokes as well as toaid acquirement of technics and evaluation of forehand groundstrokes performance. For this purpose,seven tennis expert are participated in developing an evaluation tool. As the subject of this study, malestudents not majoring in sports enrolled in recreational tennis classes during the first semester of 2014 at‘H’ University located in ‘C’ Province were selected. For a period of sixteen weeks, with onethree-hour session per week, the participating students had practiced forehand groundstrokes under thesupervision of a coach after they were explained the overall mechanism of the forehand groundstrokesthrough related videos-play and demonstrations by a coach, with an emphasis on the step-by-stepmovement instructions as outlined in the evaluation tool. The content validity of the forehandgroundstroke evaluation tool were verified by a panel of five tennis experts who are evaluators. For thepurpose of rating the objectivity of the evaluation scores by the panel members, intra-class correlationcoefficients were calculated by employing a two-way ANOVA model in using the SPSS 18.0 program,wherein the statistical significance level was chosen to be 0.05. The results of the study are as follows.
The high intra-evaluator reliability appeared, regarding the evaluation points: for evaluator L, C1, C2, Hand A the all registered r-values are 0.981, 0.960, 0.989, 0.978 and 0.981, respectively (P=.001). It impliesthat the evaluation scores of each evaluators are relatively stable and consistent. In addition, in terms ofthe inter-evaluator reliability, the average of each evaluator was from 3.03 to 3.36, and the standarddeviation was from 0.69 to 0.81, and the mean value among them was found to have no statisticallymeaningful difference (F=1.076, P=.370). As for the single measure of intra-class correlation coefficientwas r=.859, and for the average measure of intra-class correlation coefficient was r=.968, so it wasproven that the level of agreement among the evaluators was high. Therefore, these results of statisticalanalysis indicate that the forehand groundstroke evaluation method proposed may be used as an objectivetool for the purpose of effective acquirement of technics and evaluation of beginner-level collegestudents.
