문학적 글쓰기의 형상화 과정 ― 「서화」, 「날개」를 중심으로 (A Study on the Shaping Process of Literature Writing)

초록

Thinking and expression which are axes of writing can be expressed by the medium of language. Language is not a expression medium but a important element of all writing process. Therefore understanding of language comes first before comprehending writing correctly.
In this context, this study has analysed the shaping process of writing focused on language. For this purpose, this study used the general semantics theory. To understand how a novel was shaped, this paper examines general description strategy. Then this paper looks into how the themes and structural ideas in the conception phase are concretely shaped by the rhetorical device.
「Seohwa」 restructured complex reality which centers on poverty and money. 「Seohwa」 hold on to the method of classical writing of realistic novel. On the contrary, 「Nalgae」 shows description pattern which displays all shaping process of literature writing from conception to expression. 「Nalgae」 consists of prolog and body. Prolog consists of conception phase, and body takes concrete shape of the conception. The majority of novels express only restructured realities based on the idea that were recieved in the conception phase. But 「Nalgae」 uses unique pattern that contains conception phase in the text.
Of all literature writing, novel operates language variously because it contains whole process of human language. Based on this the writer delivers his message. Impressing connotation in novel text is revealed in abstraction, facts, slanting, two valued orientation, classification, judgement, inference, and identification. Among these 「Seohwa」 and 「Nalgae」 use abstraction, facts, slanting, two valued orientation, inference, and etc. By using these, the novel text provides strong impressive effects to the reader. Especially one valued orientation are revealed in the realistic novel 「Seohwa」. This expresses the writers consciousness that strongly reveals the poor reality. Two valued orientation which is the basis of 「Nalgae」, becomes essential glue of the novel. To reveal the character who maladjusted modern mode of life, the writer provokes strong emotional impression by carrying situation into extremes.
The principels of general semantics which is the methodology of this paper, is quoted in various studies area. Theses principles can be related with writing method. Therefore if these are applied in writing, various studies can be possible in writing area.
