의료정보관리 전공 학생의 개인정보보호 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recognition of Personal Information Protection of Students Majoring in Medical Information Management)

초록

사회적인 정보화 흐름에 맞추어 의료시장에서도 정보를 활용한 의료서비스 제공이 보편화되었다. 정보화시대의 도래로 각종 자료를 경영, 마케팅, 통계 등 다양한 분야에서 활용하고 있지만 정보유출과 침해로 인한 피해를 초래하기도 한다. 특히 개인의 의료정보는진단명, 유전정보 등 민감한 정보를 포함하기에 그 중요성이 더욱 크다. 이에 본 연구는의료현장에서 환자의 개인정보를 밀접하게 다루는 보건의료정보관리 전공학생들의 개인정보보호 행위에 대한 인식과 실천의도를 알아보고자 수행되었다. 부산광역시의 보건의료정보관리 전공학생들을 대상으로 자가기입식 설문지를 통해 자료수집 하였으며, SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 통계적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 개인정보보호에 대한 일반적 인식 중 변화성과 주체성이 개인정보보호 행위의 인식도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로나타났으며, 변화성과 주체성, 책임성이 개인정보보호 행위의 실천의도에 유의한 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인정보보호행위의 인식도는 실천의도에 유의한 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로, 교육여부에 따른 차이를 분석한 결과 교육을 받은학생들이 개인정보보호의 일반적 인식 중 주체성과 책임성에서 높은 인식수준을 보였으며집단 간 차이가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 의료현장에서 개인정보보호 행위를실천하기에 개인정보보호에 대한 인식이 중요하며, 교육을 통해 수준을 높일 수 있다는것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 개인정보보호와 관련한 교육의 중요성을 강조하며학교의 개인정보보호 교육 활성화를 위한 기초자료로서 널리 활용되기를 기대한다.

line with changes in social informatization, the provision of medical services through informatization has become common in the medical market. The advent of the information age is widely used in various aspects such as management, marketing, and statistics through various data, but it also leads to cases of damage caused by information leakage and infringement. In particular, personal medical information is more important because it includes sensitive information such as diagnosis and genetic information.
Accordingly, this study was conducted to find out the perceptions and practical intentions of students majoring in health information management who closely deal with patients' personal information in the medical field. Data was collected through a self-written questionnaire for students majoring in health information management in Busan, and statistically analyzed using the SPSS program. Among the general perceptions of personal information protection, change and subjectivity significantly affect the perception of personal information protection behavior, and change, subjectivity, and accountability significantly affect the intention to practice personal information protection behavior. In addition, it was found that the degree of recognition of personal information protection behavior had a significant effect on the intention to practice. Additionally, as a result of analyzing differences according to educational status, the students who received education showed a high level of recognition in subjectivity and account ability among the general recognition of personal information protection, and the difference between groups was significant. Through this, it was found that recognition of personal information protection is important to practice personal information protection behavior in the medical field, and the level can be raised through education. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of education related to personal information protection and expects to be widely used as basic data for revitalizing personal information protection education in schools.
