영유아 교사 교권 관련 연구동향 분석: 최근 20년간(2004-2023)간 국내 학술지 및 학위논문을 중심으로 (Analysis of Research Trends on the Authority of Early Childhood Teachers: A Focus on Domestic Journals and Dissertations Over the Past 20 Years (2004-2023))

초록

목적 영유아 교사의 교권에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 관련 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있지만, 교권 분야의 연구 동향을 체계적으로 분석한 연구는 여전히 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 영유아 교사 교권에 관한 연구 동향을 분석함으로써 교권 확립을 위한 방안을모색하고, 향후 교육 정책과 제도 설계를 위한 기초 자료와 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.
방법 지난 20년간(2004-2023) 이루어진 연구 중 ‘교권/교육권/권위/권리/지위/교권 침해/교권 보호’를 주제어로 ‘유아 교사/영유아 교사/유치원 교사/보육 교사’와 관련 있는 국내 주요 학술지와 학위논문을 통해 발표된 총 66편의 논문에 대해 5년 단위로 연구유형, 연구 대상, 연구 주제, 주요 연구 주제별 내용과 결과를 살펴보았다.
결과 영유아 교사 교권을 주제어로 2004-2023년까지 발표된 국내 학술지는 36편, 학위논문은 30편으로 총 66편이었으며, 연구물을 5년 단위로 분석한 결과 그 수가 증가하고 있었다. 분석대상 66편 중 양적 연구가 47편으로 가장 많았으며, 보육 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 45.5%로 가장 많았다. 연구 주제의 경우 교권에 대한 교사의 인식 연구가 68.2%로 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였고, 연구 주제를 하위주제별로 세분화하여 빈도수를 살펴보면 교권에 대한 인식 연구가 비중이 가장 높았다.
결론 영유아 교사 교권 연구는 계속 증가하고 있는 추세로서 양질의 교육⋅보육을 위한 중요 주제라는 점에서 향후 관련 연구의동향 분석 연구가 지속되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 더불어 향후에는 양적연구 외에 향후 현상에 대해 보다 해석적, 맥락적 분석이 가능하도록 관찰, 면담 등의 질적 연구 방법을 통한 결과 도출이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 향후에는 교사 외 학부모, 교육 및보육전문가, 일반인 등 연구대상의 확장을 통해 다양한 의견이 반영한 연구가 이루어짐과 동시에 교권에 대한 다양한 연구 주제가다뤄져야 할 것이다.

영어초록

Objectives As interest in the teaching rights of early childhood teachers has increased, related studies have been conducted continuously. However, systematic analyses of research trends in the field of teaching rights remain insufficient. This study aims to analyze the research trends on the teaching rights of early childhood teachers to explore strategies for establishing their teaching rights and to provide fundamental data and implications for de signing future educational policies and systems.
Methods Over the past 20 years (2004–2023), a total of 66 studies related to ‘early childhood teachers/ kinder garten teachers/ childcare teachers’ were analyzed. These studies, published in major domestic journals and dis sertations, were identified using keywords such as ‘teaching rights/ educational rights/ authority/ status/ viola tion of teaching rights/ protection of teaching rights’. The analysis was conducted in five-year intervals, focusing on research types, subjects, themes, and the content and outcomes of major topics.
Results Among the studies on early childhood teachers' authority published between 2004 and 2023, there were 36 journal articles and 30 theses, totaling 66 papers. An analysis of the research output in five-year increments showed an increasing trend in the number of studies. Of the 66 papers analyzed, quantitative research was the most common, with 47 studies, and 45.5% of the research focused on childcare teachers. Regarding research topics, studies on teachers' perceptions of authority accounted for the highest proportion at 68.2%. When further subdividing the topics into subcategories, the perception of authority remained the most frequently studied.
Conclusions Research on the authority of early childhood teachers has been steadily increasing, highlighting its importance for providing high-quality education and care. Continuous analysis of research trends in this area is necessary. In addition to quantitative research, future studies should employ qualitative methods such as ob servations and interviews to allow for more interpretive and contextual analysis of emerging phenomena.
Furthermore, expanding the scope of research subjects to include parents, education and care professionals, and the general public will ensure that diverse perspectives are considered. Various research topics related to teacher authority should also be explored to provide a comprehensive understanding of this critical issue.
