초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생들을 대상으로 한 과학태도검사에서 이를 보완할 수 있는 비언어적심리 검사도구로서 과하공적화(KSD)의 활용가능성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저, 초등학교 5학년 80명의 학생들을 대상으로 과학태도검사(TOSRA)를 실시하고, 그 점수를 바탕으로 상위 집단과 하위 집단으로 구분하였다. 다음으로 두 집단의 과학동적화(KSD) 검사 결과를 바탕으로 집단별 표현의 특징을 분석하고, 과학태도검사(TOSRA)와 과학동적화(KSD)의 관력성을 찾았다. 그결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상위 집단의 학생들은 과학자의 행위, 실험도구, 상황 등을 자세히 묘사하고, 서로 조화롭게 표현하였다. 반면 하위 집단 학생들은 인테의 일부를 생략하거나 왜곡시켰으며, 장소는 주로 과학실로 표현하였다. 둘째, 과학태도검사와 과학동적화는 각 영역별로 표현의 특징에서 관련성이 있었다. 특히 평범성은 생략과 왜곡이 없는 것으로 표현되며, 즐거움은 과학자를 그림 중심에 두고 과학활동에 집중하는 모습으로 표현되었다. 탐구태도는 구체적이고 역동적인 과학적 행위로 표현되었고, 직업 관심은 실험도구와 상황의 자세한 표현으로, 취미관심은 생활 전반에 걸쳐 과학활동을 하는 모습으로 표현되었다. 이러한 결과로부터 과학동적화에는 과학태도의 특성이 나타남을 알 수 있었고, 기존 설문 형태 과학태도검사 도구를 보완하는 심리검사 도구로서의 가치가 있음을 알았다. 과학동적화(KSD) 검사의 활성화를 통해 학생들의 심리상태를 포함한 과학 학습방법까지도 상담할 수 있는 좋은 검사도구가 되기를 기대한다.|The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of KSD(Kinetics Science Drawing) as a non-verbal psychological testing tool that could be complementary to elementary school students’ scientific attitude tests. For this purpose, eighty fifth grade students took TOSRA(Test of Science Related Attitude). Based on their scores, the students were divided into two groups, a high and a low groups, and took a KSD test. The two groups’ KSDs were analyzed in terms of the characteristics of representation and the relevance of the TOSRA and KSD was explored. The results of the analysis are as follows: (1) The high group students provided detailed descriptions of the act of scientists, experimental tools, situations, etc., in harmony with each other. On the other hand, those in the low group omitted or distorted some parts of the human body and mainly described a science lab as the place. (2) TOSRA and KSD showed relevance in the features of representation for each item of TOSRA. In particular, the commonness of scientists was represented by the absence of omission and distortion, (and) the pleasure of science was portrayed as a scientist in the center of the image, focusing on a science-related activity. Attitudes toward inquiry was expressed in a specific and dynamic scientific activity, (while) job interest was expressed in a detailed representation of experimental tools and situations, and hobby interest was expressed in the form of erforming science activities in everyday life. Based on these results, it can be seen that the characteristics of scientific attitude is displayed in KSD. KSD is also valuable as a psychological testing tool that can complement the already-existing scientific attitude tests, which are in the form of surveys. The promotion of KSD may produce a good scanning tool which can examine students’ psychological status and scientific study methods.
