본문내용

1. Willoughby
He is a handsome man who has well balanced features. He has a good manner. When Marianna hurts her ankle, she trembles with fear because there is no one to ask for help. Suddenly Willoughby appears and saves her.

Someday, he comes to Marianna`s house and he says that he leaves to London. He says good-bye and hurries off. Marianna is confused and decides to go to London to seek for her love. She found Willoughby in a party but he treats her coldly. Marianna sees a pretty and well-off woman walk arm in arm with her love, Willoughby. Marianna gets a shock. Later, she knows why Willoughby left her and got engaged with a well-off woman. Willoughby heard that he could not have any his parents` estate, so he chose money over love.

2. Edward
He is honest and kind-hearted but he does not get out of his parents` protection. He falls in love with Elinor, but he leaves Elinor and goes to London because of Fanny`s force. Fanny opposes Edward closes to a poor Elinor. Then one day Elinor knows the surprised fact related to Edward. Edward, when he was young, promised engagement with a woman `Lucy`. This fact come to light finally, Edward parents ask him breaking the promise. If he does not follow that order,
