What can be inferred from these sentences. For two year, he spent three hours each day. How it can be possible that nobody found out what he was doing in secret place. I would suggest that two things for this. First is that this society is strict but not enough to control every men for 24 hours. In chapter.1, author explained its very severe environment but there is defect also. Second is that International 4-8818 kept secret for Equality 7-2521 for two years. It is not easy thing for normal people. He is the guy who can keep the secret............................................

Equality 7-2521 said there is no shame no regret, he is a wretch and a traitor, and no burden upon his spirit and no fear in his heart. It is really hard to say like this. Especially no burden upon his spirit and no fear. His saying indicates his beliefs and the society`s beliefs are totally different. as everyone knows that something we want to do and our beliefs are not always correspondent. Some times we want to commit which is contrary to our beliefs. In this case, we feel regret and burden on our spirit. However he did not. Instead blaming himself, he felt the first peace..................

Liberty 5-3000 also fell in love with him. Considering that she followed his track, she was another rebel, but so brave. She knew what to do. If she hesitated to follow him, she might lose him whom she loved. And also she was independent she didn`t wait for his coming...........................................

Human beings need to be individual. The society of this story regards every human being as whole group. The heads of the council rejected Equality 7-2521’s light because it was made by only one man which they thought an evil. Thus, they were very foolish of not using the great invention. Due to being oneself, Equality found his freedom.......
