The company would like to do their business for manufacturing the digital photo frame in either Thailand or Malaysia with 5 million Australian dollars of capital and export goods to Japan. To select country, approval, establishment, local labour regulation, expatriate employment and tax are considered. Local labour regulations are similar between Malaysia and Thailand about normal work hour and holidays. Malaysian government provides investors, who have high capital to start business, clear procedure for approval and establishment than Thailand. Moreover, Expatriate employment pass is given by government in Malaysia. However, Thailand is selected. Because, Thai government gives investors great benefits for taxation when the company does manufacturing in promoted areas. Malaysia has similar incentives but Thai incentive has larger ranges than Malaysia. Periods of exemption for payment of taxation are 8 years in Thailand but 5 years in Malaysia.
