1.Introduction
This essay is to analyze student’s pronunciation file, which each student recorded some passage before learning English phonetics. In this semester, I have learned phonetics rules and system. It must help me to improve my pronunciation. And how can we put knowledge to practical use? That’s easy. The answer is to teach non-English major, especially those who mispronounce a phoneme or words. To do that, we have to know how we can pronounce correctly. And what is the error of his or her pronunciation. In this essay, I will analyze ‘Ha-Jin, Byun’, the next person of me. First of all, I will introduce theoretical background. This part is very essential, because it’s the root of analysis. I organize the concepts of phonetics, like same order-stress, intonation, and individual sound-, I have learned in my class. And then, I will analyze Ha-Jin’s pronunciation, using the praat, voice analysis program.
