Media report to women stands alone in providing information on all types of media - television, newspapers, magazines, movies, music videos, and other emerging media - and the way in which they depict women and issues of interest to women. There is a discussion the negative images of women emerge in the media. This study also shows that what kind of effects these images have on women. Inherent gender imbalances in social structures affect not only women but also entire societies. Using media with a view to social change, they want to balance the one-dimensional type of women in the media by introducing multiple women’s lives. Thus, they are also going to encourage reflection on the role of media itself in shaping attitudes that perpetuate gender inequities. The media is a powerful tool. If the people are active users of the media, it can be an empowering one. In these days, shaping both how we view the world and how we see ourselves is the media, television in particular. One of the goals of a woman’s place is to provide women with a space to think critically about message and medium. With five hours per day averaged across the year, media reading occupies almost as much of the adult American’s day as does working. Newspapers and magazines consume about an hour of daily media time. Members of the household are a constantly changing audience in front of the average household possesses.
