1. Introduction
Objective of this project is to achieve more comprehensive understanding about game theory by applying the knowledge learned in the class throughout the semester to reality. By designing a game that reflects real life and solving it, it is also possible to learn how to use game theory in real life.

The chosen topic for the project is a current tense relation between South and North Korea. Throughout this year, there were a few events that aggravated the situation in Korea Peninsula. In February, a South Korean naval vessel was attacked by North’s submarine that the vessel sunk to the bottom of the ocean and 46 soldiers died. In early November, one of south soldiers in demilitarized zone (near the border line) was shot by a North Korean soldier and a few days after that they proclaimed their competency of making nuclear weapon by showing off their nuclear plant to the world. Especially in late November, they bombarded about 170 cannons towards South Korean island Yeongpyeongdo causing 4 total casualties, and North announced that the reason they attacked was because they felt threat to South marines exercising near their sea, although it was a routine exercise which has been done numerous times before.
