Abstract
The intent of this paper is to analyze the fast growing and efficient sectors of the Chinese Economy. The private sector and the SME’s of China are believed to be the engines of such an explosive growth. Hence within this paper is contained an analysis of the growth levels of these enterprises, their impacts on the state owned enterprises and their potential strengths in leading the new social market economy of the PRC.

Abstract
The intent of this paper is to analyze the fast growing and efficient sectors of the Chinese Economy. The private sector and the SME’s of China are believed to be the engines of such an explosive growth. Hence within this paper is contained an analysis of the growth levels of these enterprises, their impacts on the state owned enterprises and their potential strengths in leading the new social market economy of the PRC.

Intro
China in recent years has been known as the economic powerhouse of the world. With a population of approximately 1.3 billion and a total GDP of $8.76 trillion, it is no surprise that it is the focus of attention. However at a closer glance, it is quickly noticeable that there are fundamental flaws and sinkholes in the Chinese economy. Though China has one of the highest levels of GDP in the world (3rd in the world in terms of nominal GPP); its GDP per capita is only around $6,500, ranking it in the 89th position worldwide according to the World Bank statistics in 2008 . This places China behind Brazil and Russia, two of the other BRIC countries. This goes without a saying that investing in China does contain a risk,
