When I talk about the cause of the division, It difficult to say simply. In fact, South Korea does not stand on our own power, borrowing powers of the other nation`s force, we became an independent state. In the Second World War, After the Allied Forces victory, we were independent. Axis - Germany, Italy, Japan VS Allies England, France, Russia, United States ( U.S joined in 1941. starting with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor) At first, the Axis had the advantage and appeared to be win. But, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, the United States entered and the war and war situation was reversal . The power of the United States was strong like now.

Italy`s defeat in 1945 and Also There were signs of defeat in Germany. So, Allies gathered to discuss postwar issues. (1945, in Russia(Yalta). Roosevelt, Stalin, Churchill) It`s main content were appointments on the independence of the Axis `s colony, establishment the United Nations ...and so on.
