세계유산 관광지의 스토리텔링, 장소애착, 친환경행동의도 간의 구조적 관계: 중국 태산(泰山)을 중심으로 (The Structural Relationships between Storytelling of the World Heritage Site, Place Attachment, Eco-Friendly Activity Intention: Focused on China Mount Tai Shan)

초록

본 연구는 세계복합유산 관광지인 중국 태산을 중심으로 스토리텔링, 장소애착, 친환경행동의도 간의 구조관계를 파악하였다. 이를 위해 태산을 방문한 경험이 있는 중국인 관광객을 대상으로 온라인 리서치를 통해 설문지를 배포하였다. 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 최종적으로 262부를 실증분석에 적용하였다. 실증분석 결과, 태산 스토리텔링의 특성요인은 고유성, 교육성, 흥미성, 이해용이성으로 확인되고 모든 요인은 장소의존성에 긍정적 영향을 미치며 장소정체성에도 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 장소정체성, 장소의존성은 다 친환경행동의도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 스토리텔링을 통해 관광객과 관광지 간의 정서적 유대감을 형성시킬 수 있어 관광객이 자발적으로 환경보호 의식이 갖게 될 수 있다. 이상의 연구결과에 따라 본 연구는 세계복합유산 관광지의 학문적 한계를 보완하는 뿐만 아니라 태산의 환경보호 전략에 유용한 기초자료로 기여점도 있다. 유산관광지의 활성화 방안의 수립 측면에도 도움이 될 것이다.

영어초록

This study identified the structural relationship between tourism destination storytelling, place attachment, and eco-friendly behavior intention, focusing on Mount Tai shan in China, a world complex heritage tourist site. In order to achieve the research purpose, both theoretical and empirical research were conducted. For this purpose, questionnaire were distributed through online research to Chinese tourists who have visited the Mount Tanshan. An online survey was conducted and 262 copies were finally applied to the empirical analysis. The results of this study confirmed the important characteristic factors of the Mount Tai shan's storytelling. Results showed that all the four dimensions of storytelling effectiveness positively influence the place attachment. Results also showed that the two different dimensions of place attachment(place identity and place dependence) had statistically significant influence on the environmentally friendly behavior intentions. Through this study, it is meaningful that tourism destination storytelling and place attachment verified and reconfirmed the causal relationship between place attachment and eco-friendly behavior intention based on theoretical and empirical studies. Through the tourism destination storytelling, an emotional bond between tourists and tourist destinations can be formed, so that tourists can voluntarily become conscious of environmental protection. According to the above research results, this study not only complements the academic limitations of the World Heritage Tourist Site, but also contributes as useful basic data for the Mount Taishan's environmental protection strategy. The results of this study also can be helpful in establishing a plan to revitalize heritage tourist attractions.
