초록

The purpose of this study is to provide a scheme of socially cohesive regional development strategy at local level. For that, this study uses the concept of pro-poor growth considering the positive relationship between economic growth and social equity to find the suitable strategy of socially cohesive regional development in regard to reducing poverty group during economic growth. As a result, this study concludes with some suggestions to facilitate the strategy, such as (1) cultivating work-integration social enterprise, (2) considering gender mainstreaming, (3) enhancing social welfare system, (4)organizing local-based citizen association, (5) constructing multi-regional development council, and (6) developing regional stewardship.
