유튜브 데이터 기반 한국 교방춤의 주제 유형 및 유사 표현 기법 (Thematic classifications and analogous expressive techniques of Gyobang Dance based on YouTube data)

초록

이 연구는 유튜브 속에서 교방춤의 양상을 직시하고, 그 양상의 반응과 표현적 유사성을 토대로 디지털 콘텐츠로서의 미래 방향을 제안하고자 했다. 그 방법과 결과는 아래와 같다.
첫째. Python 3.9 · Requests · BeautifulSoup · Pandas · YouTube Data API 등의 도구를 통하여 <한국 교방> 과 <교방춤> 검색어에 대한 유튜브 데이터를 수집하고, 각 URL(<한국 교방>694건 · <교방춤>774건)의 적시된 모든 댓글과 답들을 로드해서 JSON으로 파싱하여 영상 주소, 제목, 댓글, 작성자 및 답글을 추출해 냈다. 두 검색어의 『제목』TOP10과 『댓글』TOP10은 85% 이상 동일한 키워드와 중요도를 보이고 있고, 『감정 분석』에서도 시청자들의 반응은 경미한 수치를 나타냈으며, 대표적인 주제 유형은 [굿거리] · [살풀이춤] · [~류교방춤] · [장고춤] · [진주교방굿거리춤] 등으로 나왔다.
둘째, <한국교방>과 <교방춤>의 중복 IP 136개를 도출했고 그 영상의 데이터를 통해서 교방춤의 평균 재생 시간(8분), 개인 영상물 비율(81%), 가장 높은 제작년도(2022년), 가장 많은 작품(진주교방굿거리, 40건, 30%), 가장 높은 목적과 형태(공연 중심의 독무, 67건, 52%) 등을 파악했다. 교방춤 표현의 기본 구성은‘노랑 저고리와 파랑 치마의 한복’, ‘소고’, ‘독무’, ‘쪽머리’, ‘굿거리-자진머리-굿거리’,‘서서 시작해서 절하며 앉는 동작의 입·퇴장’으로 이루어져 있고, 콘텐츠적인 구성은 자막 수준의 시각효과, 고정형의 조명 및 카메라 촬영 정도에 그친다.
셋째, 중복 IP의 데이터에서 가장 많이 나온 춤은 [굿거리춤] · [살풀이춤] · [장고춤] 이며, 이 중 ‘진주교방굿거리춤’은 표현의 지속적인 유사성이 존재함으로서 교방춤의 대표적인 대상이 된다. 또한 한국 교방문화와 <교방춤>을 제대로 알리기 위해서는 유튜브 영상을 위한 맞춤식의 기획적인 영상물 제작이 필요하며, 진보적인 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 지능 기술 결합의 시도와 다양한 플랫폼을 통한 콘텐츠 확산의 전략이 강구되어야 할 것이다.

영어초록

This study sought to analyze the aspect of <Gyobang Dance> on YouTube and propose a future direction as digital content based on the response and expressive similarity of the aspect. The details about the study's methodology and findings are presented below. Firstly, in this study, we utilized various tools such as Python 3.9, Requests, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, and YouTube Data API to gather YouTube data on the search terms "Korean Gyobang" and "Gyobang Dance". The data was then parsed as JSON, encompassing all the comments and replies specified in each URL(694 cases for <Korean Gyobang> and 774 cases for <Gyobang Dance>), to extract the video address, title, comments, author, and replies. Upon analysis, the top 10 『Titles』 and top 10 『Comments』 for the two search terms showed over 85% of the same keywords and held similar levels of importance. The 『Sentiment Analysis』 also revealed that the viewers' reactions were generally passive and ordinary figures. In addition, the representative dance themes were indicated "Gutgury", "Salpuri Dance (Exorcism Dance)", "Ryugyobang dance", "Hourglass Drum Dance", and "Jinju Gyobang Gutgury Dance". Secondly, 136 overlapping IP addresses were identified for <Korean Gyobang> and <Gyobang Dance>. Upon analyzing the video data in these IP addresses, it was found that the average duration of these dances was 8 minutes, individual contributors submitted 81% of the videos, the predominant production year was 2022, the most prevalent subject was Jinju Gyobang Gutgury Dance (40 cases, 30%), and the predominant form and purpose of dance was performance-oriented solo dance (67 cases, 52%). The fundamental components of this dance expression included traditional Korean attire such as 'Hanbok' with a yellow jeogori (traditional jacket) and blue skirt, 'Sogo(Small Drum)', 'Bun', 'Gutgury-Jajinmori-Gutgury', and distinctive entrance and exit movements involving standing start, bowing, and sitting. The content composition featured subtitle-level visual effects, as well as fixed lighting and camera work. Thirdly, the most commonly performed dances in the <Gyobang Dance> data are the [Gutgury Dance], the [Salpuri Dance], and the [Hourglass Drum Dance]. The [Gutgury Dance] is performed to the Gutgury rhythm. In particular, the 'Jinju Gyobang Gutgury Dance' is widely regarded as the most symbolic and representative example of Gyobang Dance, as it consistently depicts similarities in its expression. Lastly, for the successful promotion of Korean Gyobang Culture and <Gyobang Dance>, developing custom video content for YouTube is imperative. This will require integrating advanced technologies for innovative content creation and formulating comprehensive strategies for content distribution across various platforms. Simultaneously, it is crucial to ensure the precise citation of the original work to alleviate any disarray or ambiguity surrounding content-related works.
