청소년 혐오 발언을 예방하는 가족 의인화 교육 (The Justification for Education for Preventing Youth Hate Speech)

이 연구의 목적은 청소년들이 경쟁을 통한 이김, 성취, 타자 부정을 통해서가 아니라 그리스도를 믿음으로 존재의 갱신이 가능하다는 것을 인식, 확신시키고 가정, 경제, 교회, 국가와 책임적 관계 속에서 정의를 이루는 삶을 살게 하는 것이다. 인터넷과 SNS에서 청소년들의 혐오발언과 폭력 수치가 높아지고 예방을 위하여 법적 제재를 강화해야 한다는 주장이 제기되고 있다. 타자 혐오의 근원은 자기 존재에 대한 수치심이다. 수치심과 혐오감은 상호 전환되는데 그 대상은 자기 자신, 타자 그리고 절대적 타자이다. 신학적 관점에서 수치심은 아담과 하와가 하나님과 분리된 실존이 되었다는 사실을 깨달으면서 시작되었다. 그리고 타락한 인간은 자신의 한계, 취약성을 일깨우는 타자를 혐오하게 되었다. 곧 수치심과 혐오는 보다 원초적이고 보편적 감정이다. 청소년들은 자기 존재감을 확증하기 위하여 인터넷과 SNS에서 혐오발언의 생산자, 수행자로 활동하고 있다. 존재에 대한 불안이 깊을수록 혐오 표현이 극심해지기 마련이다. 곧 혐오감은 존재에 대한 확신의 문제이며 이는 근원적인 관계, 가족으로부터 기인한다. 따라서 종교개혁 500주년을 맞아 마틴 루터의 신학을 토대로 청소년 혐오 발언을 예방할 수 있는 가족 교육을 제안하고자 한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study aims to prove that the young may realize and trust that their existence can change, not through winning, rivalry, achievement or denial towards others, but by believing Jesus Christ. This change in existence does not belong to man, but it encourages men to change their doing so as to live in a way that promotes doing good to family, neighbors, church and country. Today, there are many of problems of Hate Speech and violence between teenagers through the Internet and social networking services. The hate of a man has formed from the infancy period according to the theory of subject relation. Youth hate is associated with physical development, specifically from feelings of parental violation of autonomy and social pressure for the “perfect life.” Moreover, the situation worsens when parents deliver their own shame and disgust to their children. However, Paul Tillich and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, in the theological perspective, said that this hate and disgust began at the Original Sin, when mankind first broke God’s command. As a result, men became ashamed of their existence, isolated from the God, and then began to dislike those who recognized their vulnerability. All people bring Original shame to themselves. Hate and disgust are only the surface phenomena showing how many people reflect their shame onto others. When shame is pointed inward, it develops into a narcissistic or self-inferiority persona. By contrast, as the shame is directed outward onto others society creates a stigma centered around the socially weak; this can also lead to atheism. Furthermore, the use of the internet encourages the spread of hate speech and reinforces youth boasting about their violence in public. Though in the past, such hate was focused on race, social economic level, and gender, today it is directed towards a diversity of subjects. This problem cannot be controlled by making new laws in this society. It needs a more fundamental solution to improve current conditions. This study suggests Martin Luther’s theology as an alternative solution to this problem. Firstly, Luther’s ‘priesthood of all believers’ theory insists that parents have a responsibility to teach and control their children at home. Secondly, the ‘justification by faith’ theory suggests that human beings may become righteous men through their belief in Jesus Christ. The justification of Jesus Christ can be transferred to men only through faith. Thirdly, the righteous man has a vocation to help others to be free and to heal others from their state of sin. Based on the Martin Luther’s theology, this study seeks to justify family education to prevent disgust and hate speech in adolescences. This education consists of the Contrition Prayer, the Cross Kerygma, and the Justice Ecclesia.
