어린이집 교사의 유보통합 교사 자격제도 및 양성과정에 관한 의견 조사 (Investigation of Opinions on Integration of Early Childhood Education and Child Care in Teacher Qualification System and Training Course in Focusing on the Perspective of a Daycare Teacher)

초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 유보통합 교사자격 및 양성과정에 관한 의견을 어린이집 교사 입장에서살펴보았다. 이를 통해 유보통합 시 어린이집 교사의견을 반영하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다.
연구방법: 연구 대상은 어린이집 교사 12명이었고, 연구 도구는 김은영, 김길숙, 이연주(2014)의연구에서 사용되었던 ‘유치원과 어린이집 교사자격 및 양성에 대한 의견 조사’ 도구를수정 보완하였고, 객관식 질문과 주관식 질문으로 구성하여 사용하였다. 연구절차는책임연구자와 면접자가 일대일 면담 형태로 진행하였다. 분석은 객관식 문항은 양적분석으로 빈도와 백분율로 정리하였고, 주관식 문항은 질적분석으로 전사 후 같은 답변끼리 묶어 종류별로 분류하였다.
연구결과: 유보통합 교사 자격제도에 관한 결과는 일원화된 자격증으로 통일해야 한다고 하였고, 자격체계 강화와 단계를 세분화하고, 승급 경력과 보수 교육 기간을 늘려야 한다고 하였다. 유보통합 교사 양성제도는 3년제 학과 중심으로, 현장 중심 교과목을 추가하고, 영아와 유아 교과목을 모두 다루고, 교직과정이 포함되어야 한다고 하였다. 전공비율 학점이 늘어나야 하며, 현재 같은 학점 정도 취득하는 것을 선호하였다. 실습은 현재 적절하며, 영아반과 유아반 모두 실습 시 경험해야 한다고 하였다.
연구결론: 어린이집 교사는 유보통합 교사자격은 유보 통합된 통일된 자격증 제도로 변화해야하고, 양성과정은 교사의 전문성이 강화되어야 한다고 의견을 냈다. 또한 교사 양성과정 중 예비 교사 양성과정 교육과 함께 교사가 된 이후 교육도 고려되어 사후 과정도 양성과정에 반영해야 한다는 의견도 제시하였다. 이를 통해 유보통합 이후 교사를 배출하기 위해서는 교사의 질을 향상시키기 위한 자격제도와 양성과정의 다각화된 방법 모색에 대한 필요성을 시사하고 있다.

영어초록

Purpose: This study surveyed the opinions on the qualifications and training process ofintegrated preschool teachers from the perspective of daycare center teachers.
Through this, the purpose is to reflect the opinions of teachers at daycare centerswhen the integration takes place.
Methods: The research subjects were 12 daycare center teachers, and the research tool wasmodified and supplemented the 'Survey on Opinions on Kindergarten and DaycareTeacher Qualifications and Training' used in previous studies. The lead researcherand the interviewer were conducted in a one-on-one interview, with multiple-choicequestions and open-ended questions. For analysis, multiple-choice questions wereorganized by frequency and percentage, and subjective questions were grouped byquestion after transcription and classified by answer type.
Results: As a result of the integration teacher qualification system, it was said that it shouldbe unified into a unified qualification system, and that the qualification system shouldbe strengthened and the stages subdivided, and the career in promotion and theperiod of in-service education should be increased. The integrated teacher trainingsystem should be centered on a 3-year department, add field-oriented subjects,cover all subjects for infants and young children, and include teaching professioncourses. The percentage of major credits should be increased, and prefer samecredits as the current status. Teachers said that practice is currently appropriate andthat both infants and toddlers should experience it in practice.
Conclusion: From the perspective of daycare center teachers, this integrated teacher qualificationand training course for infants and young children was suggested in the direction ofa unified qualification system and a training course with enhanced expertise in orderto care and educate infants and young children. In addition, since there are manythings to learn in the field after becoming a teacher, it suggests that the balancebetween the process before becoming a teacher and the process after becoming ateacher is important.
