한국인 탈모자의 일반적 특성과 탈모증 유발요인 조사 연구 (A Study on the General Characteristics of Koreans with Alopecia and the Causes of Alopecia)

초록

As an auxiliary organ of the skin, hair performs such functions as excreting and expressing beauty. In modern society,the trend of putting much emphasis on appearance has exploded people’s desire for aesthetic expressions and further highlights the importance of hair. Those situations make the complex of people with alopecia worse and lead to the explosion of people suffering from loss of confidence in social life due to alopecia. This study was conceived to provide data for preventing and treating alopecia, which is regarded as a critical modern disease and social issue. The research findings show that 75.7% of youths in their thirties or younger than 30 had alopecia and that those who had the O or AB blood type had more risk of alopecia than those who had the A or B type. The results also show that stress and fever in the parietal region have effects on hair loss. Hair loss first start in youths in their twenties or thirties, who experience an increase in boils, inflammation,and dandruffs in addition to the itchy scalp. A range of factors first damage the scalp and then the root of hair, thus causing alopecia. It is thus concluded that the clean and healthy scalp is critical to preventing and improving alopecia.
