유⋅초 연계 관점에서 본 2019 개정 누리과정과 초등학교 1학년 교육과정에 나타난 놀이 실행 비교 (Comparison of Play Implementation between 2019 Revised Nuri Course and Curriculum for the 1st grade of elementary school from the Point of View of the Connection of Kindergarten-Elementary School)

초록

목적 유아교육기관과 초등학교 1학년의 놀이중심 교육과정의 비교를 통하여 두 기관의 놀이 교육의 이해 증진을 도모하고, 놀이중심 교육과정의 유⋅초연계의 실행을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위함이다.
방법 분석 대상은 ‘2019 개정 누리과정 해설서, 놀이이해자료, 놀이실행자료’(교육부, 보건복지부 2019)와 2015 개정 초등학교교육과정의 1학년 교사용 지도서이다. 분석방법은 두 기관의 교육과정의 교육목표, 운영방향, 교사 역할, 교육영역의 내용범주 분석은 황윤세(2012)의 교육과정의 통합적 관점에서 분석한 연구 준거를 수정 보완하여 분석하였고, 놀이실행의 계획-실행-평가는 귀납적 분석방법(이림, 2015; 최호성, 박경희, 2002)을 활용하여 2020년 12월20일부터 2021년 6월30까지 비교 분석하였다.
결과 첫째, 2019 개정 누리과정과 초등학교 1학년 교육과정의 교육목표, 운영방향, 교사역할, 교육영역 및 내용범주를 비교 분석한결과 연계 정도는 매우 높게 나타났고, 그 중 교사 역할면에서의 차이점이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 2019 개정 누리과정과 초등학교 1학년 교육과정의 놀이 실행(계획-실행-평가) 비교 분석 결과 2019 개정 누리과정에서는 유아 관심의 시작에서부터 놀이가 시작되고 놀이의 흐름에 따라 교사의 놀이 지원을 통한 놀이중심 교육과정이 진행되는 반면, 초등학교 1학년 교육과정은 교사가 놀이를 활용한 학생중심의 교육과정 재구성을 통하여 성취기준에 도달하는 것을 목표로 하였다.
결론 두 기관 교육과정의 공통점은 학습자 중심의 놀이중심 교육과정으로 전환 및 확대 운영에 초점을 두었다는 것이다. 하지만 두기관의 교육과정은 학습 내용에서 놀이선정 및 교수학습방법 운영에 있어서 2019 개정 누리과정과 초등학교 1학년 교육과정은 차이점이 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과가 개정 누리과정과 초등학교 1학년 놀이중심 교육과정이 유⋅초연계 관점에서 실행될 수 있는 기초 자료가 되길 기대한다.

영어초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of the play-oriented curriculum of the two institutions by comparing the play-oriented curriculum between the infant education institution and the first grade of elementary school and provide basic data for the implementation of play-oriented curriculum.
Methods The targets for analysis are “2019 revised Nuri Course Commentary, Play Understanding Data, Play Execution Data” (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare 2019) and the first-year teacher guide of the 2015 revised elementary school curriculum. The analysis of the educational goals, operation directions, teach er roles, and content categories of the two institutions revised and supplemented the research criteria analyzed from the integrated perspective of the curriculum of Hwang Yun-se (2012). Also, The plan-execution-evaluation of play execution was compared and analyzed from December 20, 2020 to June 30, 2021 using inductive analysis methods (Yirim, 2015; Choi Ho-sung, Park Kyung-hee, 2002).
Results First, the comparative analysis of the educational goals, operation directions, teacher roles, education areas, and content categories of the 2019 revised Nuri course and the first grade curriculum of elementary school showed that the degree of connection is very good. Among them, the defference in teacher roles was the highest.
Second, according to a comparative analysis of play implementation (plan-execution-evaluation) between the 2019 revised Nuri course and the first grade curriculum, the 2019 revised Nuri Course play begins from the beginning of infant interest and the play-oriented curriculum is conducted through the play support of teachers according to the flow of play while the first grade curriculum of elementary school aims to reach the achievement standard by reorganizing the student-centered curriculum.
Conclusions In conclusion, what the two institutional curriculum has in common is that it focuses on the transition and expansion of the curriculum to a learner-centered play-oriented curriculum. However, there was a difference between the 2019 revised Nuri course and the first-year play-oriented curriculum in the operation of play selection and teaching methods in the contents of the two institutions. Therefore, we hope that this study results in the 2019 revised Nuri course and the first-year elementary school play-oriented education course will be basic data that can be implemented from a point of view of the connection of kindergarten-elementary school.
