유아체육 운영에 관한 인식 조사 연구 - 운영실태와 발전방향을 중심으로 (The Awareness Study for the Management of the Early Childhood Physical Education -Focusing on the Actual Conditions of the Management and its Direction of Development-)

초록

본 연구는 유아체육교육의 발전방안에 대한 방법을 모색하여 유아체육의 기초연구자료로 사용하고자 하였다. 그러므로 유아체육을 실시하고 있는 유아교육 기관의 유아체육에 대한 운영 실태, 인식, 교육과정, 발전 방향에 관하여 교사 97명과 학부모 107명의 인식 차이를 설문지를 통하여 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과를 각각 자료화하여 측정 검사를 분석하여 얻은 결론은 첫째, 유아교육 기관의 유아체육을 지도하는 교사는 체육전공자가 대부분이며, 관련 자격증도 유아체육지도자 자격증이 가장 많았다. 유아체육시간의 주당 평균 수업 횟수와 수업시간은 1.22회와 37.06분으로 나타났으며, 유아체육을 위한 시설은 대부분이 보유하고 있었다. 유아체육프로그램도 각종 전문지 프로그램이나 자체적으로 실시하는 것으로 나타났으며, 기구를 위한 놀이와 동작교육, 공놀이, 체조를 중심으로 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 대부분의 교사들은 유아체육에 관련된 연수를 받은 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아체육의 활성화 방안은 전체적으로 유아체육에 필요한 프로그램 개발 보급이 가장 많았으며, 유아체육의 중요성 홍보, 교사들의 철저한 연수, 유아체육 교재 및 시설의 확충, 학부모나 원장님의 인식변화 순으로 나타났으며, 교사와 학부모간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이는 유아교육기관에 유아체육의 중요성과 필요성을 현장교사 뿐만 아니라 교육학자, 체육학자, 일반인에게 재인식시키는 것이 요구되어진다. 체육시설이 부족한 기관은 충분한 유아체육을 할 수 있도록 정부와 교육부는 유아교육의 예산편성 확보를 마련하여 확충 운영실시하는 것이 요구되어진다. 또한 발달적 체육프로그램에 기초하여 유아체육이 평생체육으로 이어지기 위해서 다양한 프로그램 개발이 되어야 하며 지도자를 양성할 수 있는 기관이 신설이 마련되어야겠다.

In this study we compared and analyzed the difference in perceptions between 97 teachers and 107 parents on the actual condition of development, knowledge, curriculum and the direction of development of physical education in preschool children by the questionnaire. The result from the data is following; First, most of the physical education teachers in the preschool children educational institutions majored physical education, and have a physical education certification for preschool children Most educational institutions had facilities for physical education and had a lesson 1.22 times a week with 37.06 munites of duration. The programs for physical education in preschool children are adopted from various professional programs or developed in their own institution. The programs are consist of the plays for tools, movement education, plays with balls, and gymnastics. Most teachers have participated in the programs related with physical education in preschool children.
Secondly, the most important things to promote physical education for preschool children they think are to develope and spread programs for physical education in preschool children, to inform people the importance of physical education in preschool children, to give teachers more opportunities to participate in the programs related in physical education in preschool children, The expansion of the text and facilities for physical education in preschool children and the change in perceptions of parents or the directors of institutions. It is needed that the importance and the need of physical education for preschool children should be known not only to teachers who teach preschool children but also to pedagogists, physical educators. The Government and the education ministry should have more budget to help institutions which does not have enough facilities. To make physical education for children continue to adult physical activities. Various programs also should be developed and the institution to teach physical educators for children should be established.
