유아를 위한 보성 비봉해안지역 체험학습 프로그램 개발 (The Development of a Boseong-Bibong Coastal Area Field Trip Program for Young Children)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 2019개정 누리과정을 토대로 하여 지역화 교육과정 운영 방안으로써 유아과학교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것에 있다. 이를 위한 연구문제는 유아과학교육을 위한 보성 비봉해안지역 체험학습 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 2019개정 누리과정 및 유아과학교육 관련 문헌고찰과 보성 비봉해안지역 답사를 통해 보성 비봉해안지역 약 3km 범위 안에 있는‘선소마을 해안가 갯벌’,‘공룡알화석 산지’,‘비봉공룡공원’을 체험학습지로 선정하고, 유아 발달, 흥미, 사전 경험 등을 고려하여 발달수준에 적절한 교육 내용 및 교수-학습방법, 교사의 역할을 중심으로 10개의 활동을 구안하였다. 이후 전문가 타당도 검증을 거쳐 최종 12개의 체험학습 활동을 개발하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램 개발의 필요성은 보성 비봉해안지역 약 3km 범위 안에 있는‘선소마을 해안가 갯벌’,‘공룡알화석 산지’,‘비봉공룡공원’이 유아과학교육과 유아 놀이 체험과 관련하여 가치와 의미가 있다. 둘째, 프로그램의 목적, 목표는‘보성 비봉해안지역의 자연환경 및 공원을 탐구하는 과정을 즐긴다.’,‘보성 비봉해안지역 체험학습 프로그램에 참여함으로써 탐구기술을 활용한다.’,‘보성 비봉해안지역 체험학습 프로그램을 통해 동식물이 살아가기에 좋은 환경에 대해 관심을 가진다.’로 설정되다. 또한, 프로그램의 내용은 유아 발달, 흥미, 사전 경험 등을 고려하여 발달수준에 적절한 교육 내용을 토대로 12개의 활동이 개발되었으며, 구체적으로‘흙으로 놀아요’,‘갯벌 위에 사는 동물’,‘갯벌 속에서 사는 동물’,‘갯벌에 사는 식물 친구들 알아보기’,‘선소마을 해안가에 있는 신기한 암석’,‘비봉리 공룡알 화석산지’,‘비봉공룡공원에 있는 공룡들과 만나요’,‘공룡 로봇과 만나요’,‘공룡들과 놀아요’, ‘어떤 공룡의 알일까?’,‘공룡알의 엄마(아빠)가 되어봐요’,‘공룡으로 여러 가지 활동을 해요’이다. 셋째, 활동 전개 및 교수-학습 방법은 사전 준비 및 활동, 본 활동, 사후 활동으로 구성되며, 교사의 역할을 포함하고, 활동의 실제를 제시한다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 한 결론은 첫째, 2019개정 누리과정의 중점인 유아․놀이중심 교수․학습과 연계하여 유아과학교육을 위한 자연탐구의 구체적인 교수․학습방법으로 개발된 본 프로그램은 지역의 자연환경을 활용한 현장체험학습 프로그램으로써의 교육적 가치와 의미가 있다. 둘째, 체험학습이 일회적인 관광식 접근으로 이루어졌던 기존의 방식에 대한 대안으로 보다 유기적이고 지속적인 체험활동 프로그램 접근으로 실천될 수 있는 구체적인 방안으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to develop an early childhood science education program as a way to operate a localized curriculum based on the 2019 Nuri curriculum. The research question for this is to develop a Boseng-Bibong coastal area field trip program for early childhood science education. The research method was conducted on the 'Boseong Seonso coastal mud flat', the 'dinosaur eggsite', and the 'Bibong Dinosaur Park' within a 3km range of the Bibong coastal area of ​​Boseong through a review of the 2019 Nuri curriculum and literature related to early childhood science education and an expedition to the Bibong coastal area in Boseong. The experiential learning site was selected, and 10 activities were devised focusing on the educational content, teaching-learning methods, and the role of the teacher appropriate to the developmental level in consideration of the child's development, interest, and prior experience. After that, the final 12 experiential learning activities were developed through expert validation. The study results are as follows. First, the necessity of program development is that the 'Boseong Seonso coastal mud flat', the 'dinosaur eggsite', and the 'Bibong Dinosaur Park' within a range of about 3km in the Bibong coastal area of ​​Boseong have values ​​and meaning in relation to early childhood science education and children's play experience. Second, the purpose and goal of the program is to 'Enjoy the process of exploring the natural environment and parks of the Bibong coastal area in Boseong.', 'Utilize exploration technology by participating in the Boseng-Bibong coastal area field trip program.', and with the 'Boseong-Bibong coastal field trip program, we are interested in the favorable environment for animals and plants to live.' In addition, 12 activities were developed based on educational content appropriate to the developmental level in consideration of infant development, interests, and prior experiences. Specifically, 'Playing with sand', 'Animals living on mud flats', 'Animals' living inside mud flats', 'Plants living on mud flats', 'The mysterious rock of the Seonso coast', 'Bibong-ri dinosaur eggsite', 'Let's go see the dinosaurs of the Bibong Dinosaur Park', 'Meeting with the dinosaur Robot', 'Let's play with dinosaurs', and 'What dinosaur does this egg belong to?' Third, the activity development and teaching-learning method consists of a pre-preparation activity, main activity, and post activity, including the role of the teacher, and presenting the actual activity. The conclusion based on these results is that first, this program developed as a specific teaching and learning method of nature inquiry for early childhood science education in connection with infant and play-centered teaching and learning, focused on the 2019 Nuri curriculum, has educational value and meaning as a field experiential learning program. Second, the study will also contribute to the development of a continuous and organic field trip program with greater educational effects as it has a continuous and organic linkage compared to the one-time field trip focused on a tourist approach.
