초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effects of job stress on the relationship between emotional leadership and turnover intention of flight attendants. The subjects of the study were 236 cabin crew members of national airlines using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 for windows. The results of this study were as follows: First, the level of major variables was 5 points, 3.80 points for Emotional leadership, 2.77 points for job stress, and 2.55 points for turnover intention. Second, the difference between the groups did not appear in emotional leadership and job stress, but appeared in turnover intention. Third, emotional leadership directly influenced turnover intention and affected turnover intention through mediation of job stress. The implications of this study are as follows. First, it is meaningful to provide basic data of education about emotional leadership by revealing perception level of sub - variables of emotional leadership. Second, it is necessary to train emotional leadership related to job stress and turnover intention to reduce cabin crew 's job stress and turnover intention. Third, based on the results of this study, emphasizing the importance of emotional leadership in cabin managers can help to manage airline 's human resources efficiently.
