지적장애 학생 과학교과 교수법에 대한 국내⋅외 연구 동향 분석과 방법 탐색 (Exploration of Teaching Methods and Analysis of Domestic and International Research Trends in Science Education for Students with Intellectual Disabilities)

초록

목적 국내⋅외 지적장애 학생 과학교과 교수법 연구 동향을 분석하고, 지적장애 학생의 과학교과 교수법에서 효율적으로 활용할수 있는 교수 방법을 탐색하는데 있다.
방법 문헌연구로 지적장애 학생 과학교과 교수법과 관련하여 국내는 2000년 이후 국외는 2010년 이후 논문 및 서적 자료를 대상으로 검색한 후 제목과 초록을 코딩 작업하여 검토하고 논문 전문을 살펴본 후 선정기준에 부합하지 않는 논문을 제외하여 최종적으로국내 25편, 국외 35편을 확정하여 분석하였다.
결과 첫째, 국내 연구 사례에서 23가지의 교수법과 각각의 핵심개념, 교수 접근방식, 구체적 특징, 장점과 단점을 볼 수 있었다.
둘째, 국외 연구 사례에서는 21가지의 교수법과 동일항목의 내용을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 국내⋅외 연구 성향 비교에서 국내 연구는 교사 중심의 접근방식과 교육과정 구조에 중심을 두고 있었고, 국외의 경우는 학생 중심의 학습 방법론과 교수법의 실천적 적용에집중하는 경향이 있었다. 넷째, 국내⋅외 연구의 통합분류로 지적장애 학생의 과학교과 교수법 연구가 활성화될 것으로 탐색되었다.
결론 본 연구는 지적장애 학생의 과학교과 지도와 관련하여 국내⋅외적으로 적용된 다양한 교수법을 탐색함으로써 향후 지적장애학생의 과학교과 지도를 활성화시킬 수 있는 방법 탐색에 기초자료로 의의가 있다.

영어초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends on science education teaching methods for students with intellectual disabilities in both domestic and international contexts and to explore effective teaching methods that can be efficiently utilized in instructing science subjects to students with intellectual disabilities.
Methods In this literature review, research papers and books on science teaching methods for students with in tellectual disabilities were examined. Domestic studies published since 2000 and international studies published since 2010 were searched. Titles and abstracts were coded and reviewed, followed by a full-text examination.
Studies that did not meet the selection criteria were excluded, resulting in the final analysis of 25 domestic and 35 international papers.
Results The research findings are as follows: First, 23 teaching methods were identified in domestic studies, along with their core concepts, instructional approaches, specific characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages.
Second, 21 teaching methods were found in international studies, with the same categories analyzed. Third, a comparison of domestic and international research trends revealed that domestic studies emphasized teach er-centered approaches and curriculum structure, whereas international studies tended to focus on student-cen tered learning methodologies and the practical application of teaching methods. Fourth, through an integrated classification of domestic and international studies, it was explored that the research on science education teach ing methods for students with intellectual disabilities could be further activated.
Conclusions This study is significant in that it explores various teaching methods applied both domestically and internationally in relation to science education for students with intellectual disabilities, providing an opportunity to enhance science education for these students in the future.
