초록

MICE 산업의 고도의 서비스 경영의 특성을 고려하여, 컨벤션 산업의 수요와 공급적 특성을 구분하고 주요 서비스를 제공하는 전문회의기획업(PCO)의 관점에서 행사 개최에 직·간접적으로 연계되어 있는 후방산업까지 아우르는 다양한 업종의 네트워크 특성을 구체화하고, 상호 발전할 수 있는 방향성 제시가 필요하다.
이에 본 연구는 MICE 산업 서비스의 공급자인 컨벤션기획업(PCO)의 서비스 운영을 위한 상호 협력적인 관계를 맺고 있는 컨벤션지원서비스업 간의 협력 네트워크 관계를 규명하고, 그에 따른 경영 및 협력적 성과를 분석하여 향후 컨벤션 산업 발전을 위한 상호 지속적인 협력의도에 대해 연구하고자 한다.
가설검증 결과에 있어서 컨벤션지원서비스업의 협력 네트워킹 특성에 따라 기업성과와 협력성과 및 향후 지속적 협력의도에 미치는 영향을 파악한 결과, 성과와 지속적 협력의도 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 조사응답자인 컨벤션지원서비스업의 업종 구분으로 선행연구와 연구자의 판단으로 총 15개 부문으로 나누어 조사했으며, 특히 협력 네트워킹 특성에 따른 구성요인에 대한 요인분석 결과, 당초 28개의 항목 중 유사하거나 내용이 적절하게 맞지 않는 2개 문항을 삭제하여, 총 26개 항목으로 최종 요인분석이 도출되었으며, ‘문제해결 및 지원’, ‘자원 공유’, ‘정보교환’, ‘신뢰’, ‘공동대응’으로 명명하여 5개 요인으로 추출되었다.
특히, 다중회귀분석 결과, 협력 네트워크 구성요인 중, 기업성과에 영향을 누가 더 많이 미치는지 상대적 영향력을 파악해 보면, ‘문제해결 및 지원’이 다른 변인들보다 성과에 상대적으로 높은 영향을 준다고 나타났으며, 협력성과의 경우 ‘신뢰’가 상대적으로 높은 영향을 준다고 나타났다.

영어초록

Considering the advanced service management characteristics of the MICE industry, it is necessary to differentiate between the demand and supply characteristics of the convention industry and to specify the network characteristics of various industries, including the post-industries indirectly linked to event hosting, from the perspective of Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs) that provide key services. It is also important to provide a direction for mutual development.
Therefore, this study aims to identify the cooperative network relationships among convention support service industries that have a cooperative relationship for the operation of PCOs, who are service providers in the MICE industry. It also aims to analyze the management and cooperative performance resulting from such relationships and to study the intentions for sustained cooperation in the future development of the convention industry.
Based on the hypothesis testing results, it was found that the cooperative networking characteristics of the convention support service industry have a significant impact on both business performance and cooperative performance, as well as the intention for sustained cooperation. The survey respondents in this study were divided into a total of 15 sectors based on the classification of convention support service industries in previous studies and the researchers' judgment. In particular, factor analysis was conducted on the constituent factors according to the cooperative networking characteristics. Out of the initial 28 items, 2 items that were similar or not appropriate were removed, resulting in a final factor analysis with 26 items. Five factors were extracted and named "problem-solving and support," "resource sharing," "information exchange," "trust," and "joint response." In particular, through multiple regression analysis, when examining the relative influence of the constituent factors of cooperative networks on business performance, it was found that "problem-solving and support" has a relatively higher impact on performance compared to other variables. Regarding cooperative performance, "trust" was found to have a relatively higher impact.
