위만주국시기 양산정과 안수길 소설의 주제의식 비교 연구 (A comparative study on the Thematic consciousness of Liang Shan-ding and Ahn soo-kil’s novels in the period of Pseudo Manchukuo)

초록

본 논문은 위만주국이라는 특수한 시ㆍ공간적 현장에 몸담고 왕성한 창작으로 동북윤함구문단(東北淪陷區文壇)을 이끈 양산정과 재만 조선인 문단을 이끈 안수길의 위만주국시기(위만주국 ‘경내’ 거주 시기)에 창작한 소설을 대상으로 두 작가 소설의 주제적 특성을 살펴보고 주제의식의 공통점과 차이점 및 그 심층적 원인을 고찰하였다.
양산정은 일제가 요구하는 이식문학에 맞서 ‘향토문학’을 주장하고 ‘예문지파’와의 5년간의 논전을 펼치면서 창작에 실천하였다. 이 시기 양산정 소설은 중국인의 국민성을 비판하고 위만주국 당국의 통치 죄행을 폭로하며 우회적으로 일제의 침략을 고발하는 등 현실비판적 주제에서 농민무장을 결성하여 일제와 위만주국 당국의 통치에 반항할 것을 은밀히 전달하는 현실반항적 주제로 변모하는 양상을 보였다.
안수길은 이주복, 강경애 등 재만 조선문인들과 〈북향회〉를 발족하여 간도에서 조선문학의 계보를 잇고자 하였다. 안수길의 소설은 만주의 어두운 사회상과 조선인의 국민성을 비판하는 현실비판적 주제에서 ‘북향정신’으로 민족의 정체성을 수립하고 위만주국의 국민으로 ‘재생’하기를 호소하는 현실순응적 주제로 변모하는 양상을 보였다.
양산정과 안수길은 하층민의 수난에 주목하여 각기 민족의 민족성을 비판하고 어두운 사회상을 비판ㆍ폭로하는 면에서 공통점이 있지만 일제와의 갈등을 표현하는 방식, 하층민의 출로, 위만주국의 국책에 취한 태도가 서로 다르다. 두 작가 소설의 주제적 특성이 이러한 차이점이 보이게 되는 원인은 우선, 만주의 원주민인 중국인과 이주민인 조선인은 당면한 역사적 현실이 다르고 따라서 문인들의 과제도 다르며, 다음으로 두 작가의 창작 경력과 몸담은 문단의 상황이 다르기 때문이다.

영어초록

This study explored the differences in the Thematic consciousness and causes of the two writers’ perceptions of Pseudo Manchukuo during the Pseudo Manchukuo period (the period of residence in Pseudo Manchukuo) in Liang Shan-ding, who led the Literary circles in the enemy occupied areas in Northeast China, and Ahn soo-kil, who led the Manchuria Korean literature.
First of all, I examined the situation of the Chinese literary world and the Korean literary world that the two writers were in the first and examined the Thematic consciousness characteristics of the two artist novels. Liang Shan-ding insisted on ‘local literature’ against the transplant literature demanded by Japanese imperialism, and practiced in creation with five years of argument with the ‘Yiwenzhipai(艺文志派)’. During this period, the theme of Liang Shan-ding novels changed from criticizing the Chinese Ethnicity, exposing the ruling crimes of the puppet Manchukuo authorities, indirectly exposing the realistic critical theme of Japanese imperialist aggression to the rebellious theme of the public reminding the peasants to organize armed resistance against the rule of the puppet Manchukuo authorities.
Ahn soo-kil launched the ‘Beixiang Association’ Literature with Korean Literature and sought to connect the genealogy of Korean Literature in Gando. Ahn Soo-gil’s novel showed a pattern of transforming from a reality-critical theme criticizing Manchuria’s dark social image and the national character of Koreans to a reality-friendly theme that appeals to establish the identity of the nation with the “Hometown in the north spirit” and “rejuvenate” as the people of Pseudo Manchukuo.
Liang Shan-ding and Ahn soo-kil have something in common in that they pay attention to the hardships of the lower class, criticize the ethnicity of each nation, criticize and expose the dark social situation, but the way they express conflict with Japan, the way they leave, and the attitude taken on the national policy of Pseudo Manchukuo. The Thematic consciousness of the two writers’ novels are different because first of all, the historical reality facing the native Chinese of Manchuria and the immigrant Koreans is different, and then the creative career of the two writers and the situation of the literary world are different.
