A Analysis of Chinese Naval Concept of Operations and Its Secutiry Implications in case of Taiwan Strait Crisis

There has been many research papers to see China’s evolution of maritime strategy and naval modernization in terms of its strategic mind-set. However, this article is focused on assessing how China use its naval forces in case of Taiwan strait crisis.
The aim of the article is to introduce a new perspective to this debate by analysing PLA’s capability and a concept of operations in case that the taiwan strait isuss bursts out a military crisis. In recent years, China have been developing unpredictable military capability which suppress Taiwan’s military forces. Furthermore People’s Liberation Army’s capabilities are comparable with U.S. military forces which is deployed in Asia region.
This article provides a stepping stone to comprehend the aspect of military operations in case of a Taiwan Strait crisis, with an emphasis on use of the PLA Navy forces. In conclusion, even though there is a possibility that the U.S would intervene taiwan issue, China tends to use its own forces to suppress taiwan’s independence movement.
