청소년 시의 이야기시적 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Narrative Poem in Adolescent Poetry)

초록

청소년 시는 청소년의 경험을, 청소년의 관점에서, 청소년이 이해할 수 있는형식으로 청소년을 독자로 상정하고 창작된 작품을 의미한다. 이 연구는 청소년 문학의 장르로 자리한 ‘청소년 시’의 내러티브적 성격, 즉 ‘이야기시’로서의 특성을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 청소년 시 중 대화와 내러티브 발화를 중심으로한 시인의 청소년 시집을 대상으로 화자의 발화와 시적 세계를 구축하는 내러티브를 분석하여 청소년 시의 이야기시적인 특성을 발굴하였다.
첫째, 청소년 시는 화자를 청소년 당사자를 비롯해 선생님, 부모님 등 주변 인물로 상정한다. 이들이 관찰자가 되어 서로를 유심히 살펴보고 대화하며 청소년시의 이야기는 진행된다. 이를 통해서 청소년의 고민에 서사를 이해하고, 어른들도 청소년기가 있었으며 정체성을 고민하는 일은 당연하다는 위로를 전한다. 김미희 『외계인에게 로션을 발라주다』, 정덕재 『나는 고딩 아빠다』는 청소년과 청소년이 아닌 화자, 청자를 등장시켜 그들의 대화와 이야기를 통해 청소년에 대한 공감을 구성한다.
둘째, 최근 청소년 시는 한 권의 시집 안에서 여러 작품에 동일한 화자를 상정하고 허구의 화자를 등장인물로 하여 그들의 생활을 이야기로 구성하는 이야기시의 형태를 활용한다. 허유미 『우리 어멍은 해녀』는 제주라는 특수한 지역에서 어른처럼 살아가고자 노력하는 청소년을 처음부터 끝까지 동일한 1인칭 화자로 설정하여 학교 밖 청소년의 현실을 그려내고 있다. 김현서 『탐정동아리 사건일지』는 탐정이 되고 싶어 하는 중학생 화자의 1년 동안 학교생활과 가정의 일상을 ‘학교의 도둑’ 사건을 추리하는 방식으로 동일한 화자를 상정한다. 한 명의 화자가 경험한 사건과 화자가 보고 느낀, 또는 볼 수 없었던 현실을 통해서 오로지 학업을 외치는 학교와 집의 어른들을 비판한다. 두 시집 모두 모든 작품에서 동일한 화자를 유지함으로써 독자가 작품에 이입하기 쉽도록 유도하고 있다. 시의 배경을 이해하는것이 어려운 청소년 독자에게 다가가는 청소년 시의 방안이라고 하겠다.
이 연구를 통하여 이야기시의 특성을 활용한 청소년 시의 동일화 방식이 청소년 시에서 공감의 큰 축을 형성한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 청소년 시의 독자들이 자신과 화자 또는 등장인물들을 동일시하고 시와 소통한다. 시집에 수록된 각 작품들이 여러 상황과 감정을 노래하지만 하나의 배경과 인물로 응집되면서 청소년 독자들이 화자를 자신의 페르소나로 인식하게 만든다. 이는 문학교육에서 청소년시를 시교육의 교안으로 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다.

영어초록

Adolescent Poetry means the experience of adolescents, from a Adolescent point of view, and in a format that can be understood by Adolescents, and is a work that is uniquely created for adolescents. The purpose of this research is to investigate the narrative character of “Adolescent Poetry”, which is positioned as a genre of youth literature, that is, its characteristics as “Narrative Poem”. I analyzed the stories that construct the poetic world and the utterances of the speakers, focusing on the dialogues and narrative utterances of youth, and discovered the narrative poetic characteristics of youth.
First of all, the youth market assumes that the speakers are the youth, teachers, parents and other people around them. As they become observers, watching each other closely and conversing, the story of adolescence progresses. Through this, we can understand the epic poem about the troubles of adolescents, and convey the solace that adults also have adolescence and it is natural to worry about identity. Kim Mi-Hee’s “Applying lotion to foreigners” and “Jung Duk-Jae” feature speakers and youths instead of youths and youths, and composes sympathy for youths through their dialogue and stories.
Secondly, the recent Adolescent Poetry assumes the same speaker in multiple works in a single poetry anthology, and takes the form of narrative poems in which fictional speakers are used as characters and their lives are composed of stories. use. Heo Yoo-Mi’s “Our mom is a Haenyeo’’ portrays the reality of teenagers outside of school by setting young people who are trying to live like adults in the special area of Jeju as the same first-person speaker from beginning to end. there is Kim Hyun-Seo - Is it a detective circle case - A middle school student who wants to be a detective for a year, school life and home life are assumed to be the same speaker in the way of inferring the ‘school thief’ case. Through the incident experienced by one speaker and the reality that the speaker saw, felt, or could not see, he criticizes the adults at school and home who just scream schoolwork. Both anthologies maintain the same speaker in all works, inducing readers to become more familiar with the works. This is a plan for a youth market that will reach out to young readers who have difficulty understanding the background of the city.
Through this research, it was found that the method of identification during adolescence, which utilizes the characteristics of speech, forms a major axis of empathy in Adolescent Poetrys. Readers of the Youth Market identify themselves with the speaker or characters and communicate with the poem.
Each piece in the collection sings of different situations and emotions, but cohesive with a single background and person, allowing young readers to perceive the speaker as their own persona. This indicates the possibility of using the Youth Market as a teaching material for municipal education in literary education.
Through this research, we can expect the academic results of “securing points of distinction in the Adolescent Poetry genre” and “discovering new arguments for Narrative Poem” Based on this, we will look at “research on the interaction between Adolescent readers and poetry texts and the direction of literary education through stories”, and plan to expand the research by linking this with literary education in the curriculum.
