초록

Purpose: This study examines the influence of COVID-19-related stress on the quality of life and the likelihood of social networking site (SNS) addiction among Chinese college basketball players.
Method: Athletes from seven universities in China comprised the sample population. A total of 560 people participated in the survey. Out of these, 501 cases were included in the final analysis, while 59 questionnaires that were deemed dishonest or unreliable were excluded.
Results: First of all, when examining the difference in COVID-19 stress according to general characteristics, there was a significant difference was found between women and men. There was a significant difference in daily life records when conducting a differentiation test based on the reason for using SNS. When testing for differences in SNS addiction tendencies based on general characteristics, significant differences were found in grades and SNS usage time.
Conclusion: As mentioned above, there is a significant difference between COVID-19 stress and SNS addiction tendency depending on the general characteristics of Chinese university athletes. Second, the mediating effect of quality of life (psychological well-being, self-satisfaction, and liv
