In the late Joseon Dynasty, Tongjeyoung, who was the mainstay of the navy, was urgent to prepare military articles to defend the Samnam Sea. Since the early 18th century, 8 Warships fleet and the crew have been established, and onboard firearms and various military weapons have also been established. This paper mainly used ‘Tongyeongji(統營誌)’, ‘Tongjeyounggjeolmok(統制營節目)’, and two types of ‘Tongjeyoung-junggi(統制營 重記)’ to understand the system and the actual state of Tongjeyoung armaments in the latter half of the 18th century. The foundation for the stockpiling, storage, and management of military equipment in the Tongjeyoung was a number of military warehouses around the shipyard. Among them, the number of k’an in five storages reached 90 k’an, and about 10 k’an warehouses were also set up in the Jungyeong(中營) shipyard. ‘Tongyeongji’ in the latter half-18th century and the two ancient documents were almost the same as the military and remains on board through cross-examination. The 8 Warships fleet had about 500 weapons ranging from ‘Cheonja Chongtong(天字銃筒)’ to ‘Baekja Chongtong(百字銃筒)’. Among them, Bulranggiryu(佛狼機類) had nearly half of the market share. In order to understand this multi-species bulranggi, it was analyzed by mobilizing the ‘Tongjeyoung-junggi’ of the early 19th century, the existing real thing, and the two ancient documents of Ganghwa, the capital city's security center. In this process, it was possible to confirm the reality of small-sized bulranggi and large-sized bulranggi of No. 1 to No. 3 that have not been previously identified. Due to the characteristics of the navy, small and medium-sized bulanggi currents were mainly mounted rather than large bulanggi, and the possession of ‘Japo(子砲)’ was also common, with three muns(門) per piece of ordnance. Considering the range and its power, these large bulanggi were mainly assigned to Jinbo(鎭堡) and Dondae(墩臺) in Ganghwa-do. Through such research, it was possible to place a certain part of the actual military articles and the whole of the naval forces in the late Joseon Dynasty. Through this argument, it was possible to establish some of the actual and total military capabilities of Tongjeyoung, who was the bridgehead of the naval forces in the late Joseon Dynasty.
