식민지기 제국 일본문학의 번역 양상- 1920년대 신문 연재소설 「불꽃(火華)」과 「불」을 중심으로 (The translation feature of the Imperial Japanese literature in the period of Colonial Rule - On the focus of the serial novels, 「Bulkkot」and 「Bulkgot」in the 1920's newspaper -)

초록

「The Daily News」in the 1920's released the article which induced the Korean workers to emigrate Japanese land. In this context, this appeared the irony situation in the fact that the Paper which had stood up for the Japanese Government-General of Korea in the success of the 1910's wrote the novel, 「Bulkgot」overally exposed the capital issue directly to be connected with the Japan's invasion into the Korea.
The fact that the「Bulkgot」added the interest of the story with the excellent illustration and newly tried the communication with the readers is understood in this aspect of the disappeared merit of 「The Daily News」which was the only Korean language paper until 1920's before that the Imperial Japan claimed to advocate the 'cultural politics' and permit the issue of the Korean language newspapers, 『Dong-A ilbo』,『Chosunilbo』,『Sisasinmun』 etc.
The serial publishing of the「Bulkgot」in the context of Korean newspaper's field at the 1920's time is the product of the literary circles which should each time provide the reading material in the face of the stiff competition between the newspapers.
This「Bulkgot」demolished the proletariat in the form and the bourgeois in the novel of the symmetric equation, and seperated the piece and the author. The omission, drop and revision including the illustration of the rather unprecedented translation text in comparison of the Japanese language text resulted in the contents difference which added the story interest and newly tried the communication with the readers. And in this juncture of the revision, the person directly of the labor struggle was more conscientized, and that scene was increasingly factually featured. In these respects, the「Bulkgot」as the literature of the Fourth Class took the more advantage than other novels. Futhermore we can get a taste of the Korean society fragmentarily in the course of the comparison and review of these two novels and easily confirm the fact that the Japanese counteracted more strongly than the Korean in the face of the ideology crackdown, and the single article than the newspaper within Japan.
Although the Korean registration, geographical name, and the wording of the translator induced the readers to read the text in the manner of the 「Bulkgot」handled the Korean society issue at that time not the Japanese, the class issue of the transltion text had extended the problem of nation, not being collected to the Korean society. This is explained in the context that The issues of the labor class and the capital in one state are enlarged to the Colonial and nation problem when interfering with the situation of the Colonial rule. We can easily find in 「Bulkgot」here and there the cases the simple alteration of the language represented the standpoint of the translation principal in the situation of the Colonized. The problem is the fact that as a result of that the 「Bulkkot」and 「Bulkgot」corresponded the Colonial policy of the Imperial Japan which suggested the utopia of the Hokkaido and North Gando unlike real, in the field of the Pro-literature which should point out the capitalism issue and the problem between capitalist and laborer, the domination logic of the Colonial rule still worked.
