    초록

    In the epitaphs inscribed during the Goryeo period, we can see the texts mentioning that the deceased passed the state examination called Gukjagamshi such as ‘Jinsa 1-gwa’, ‘Jinsa 2-gwa’ and ‘Samashi 1-gwa’. The term, 1-gwa or 2-gwa in the texts seems to have distinguished the grade of passing the examination, comparing with Myeongkyungeup 2-gwa and 3-gwa of Yebushi during the Goryeo period, That is, ‘Jinsa 1-gwa’ or ‘Jinsa 2-gwa’ was distinguished according to the grade or ranking of the exam, Gukjagamshi.
    In the case of Jeon-Gi who took Gukjagamshi in the period of King Yejong’s reign, his epitaph shows that he passed ‘Jinsa 1-gwa as the 5th’ and then ‘Dongdang Eul-gwa as one of the top 3 passers’. The epitaph recorded the result of the exam he passed in the same form as that of Yebushi, that is, ‘Exam name+grade+ranking’. Such a description is related to the characteristics of epitaphs in order for posthumous promotion of the deceased, which was possible as Gukjagamshi was a preliminary test for Yebushi.
    Those who passed Gukjagamshi during the Goryeo period were called Jinsa and they established a special relationship with their examiners as Jwaju and Munseng, which was incorporated in the Jwaju-Munseng System. Munseng of Gukjagamshi entered into public office, leading his life as a Jwaju’s whole life disciple, and they shared the same view of the political situations and formed an intense political identification with each other.
    Considering the existence of Dongnyunrok, the passers of Gukjagamshi called Jinsa must have had mutual fellowship, and further communicated and united with the Munseng who passed Yebushi that their Jwaju supervised. In short, the relationship between Jwaju and Munseng of Gukjagamshi was extended and connected to the Jwaju- Munseng System of Yebushi, which was a significant foundation of the enormous Munseng group that Goryeo literary men formed. In conclusion, the relationship between Jwaju and Munseng of Gukjagamshi brought on the solidarity among Goryeo literary intellectuals, and it can be estimated that there would be exclusive interest naturally shared in relation to Yebushi.
