明 末期 넓은굽 청화백자의 제작과 朝鮮 17세기 官窯 백자에 미친 영향 (The Production of Blue and White Porcelain with Bi-Shaped Bottom at the End of the Ming Dynasty and Its Influence on White Porcelain of Royal Kiln in the 17th Century of Joseon Dynasty)

초록

그릇은 지역과 시대에 따라 형태와 크기가 달라진다. 鉢 같은 일상의 반상기는 조형의 변화 속도나 폭이 크지 않지만 시간이 지남에 따라 그릇의 세부 형태와 크기가 조금씩 달라진다. 기후 환경이 변하고 사회 규모가 성장하며 공동체의 민족 구성이 달라지는 등 다양한 요인이 食文化의 변화를 불러올 수 있기 때문이다. 그러나 점진적인 문화 변화에 따라 달라지는 그릇의 모양 차이는 그 원인과 시점을 뚜렷하게 가늠하기 어렵다. 반면 특이한 형태와 문양의 그릇은 등장 원인과 변화상을 직접적으로 추론해 볼 수 있다.
17세기 중국을 비롯한 조선과 일본에서 만든 넓은굽의 백자는 동아시아 3국의 도자 문화에서 눈에 띄는 조형 요소다. 제작 기간이 한정되어 있고 겉모습이 특별하기 때문에 편년 유물로도 활용되고 있다. 실제로 넓은굽은 조선 도자사 연구에서 17세기 관요 백자의 중요한 특징 가운데 하나로 인식되고 있다.
넓은굽은 명나라 말기 유행하던 골동과 완상 문화 속에 개념화된 前 시기 명품 자기들의 특징이 當代 중국의 민요 자기에 접목된 결과였다. 왜란과 호란이 일으킨 조선과 중국 사이의 접촉은 조선 왕실과 도성에 거주하는 일부 사대부들이 넓은굽 청화백자를 비롯하여 다양한 중국 자기를 사용할 수 있도록 했다.
왜란 이후 조선은 援軍을 파견해 준 명나라에게 극진한 예를 다했으며, 명나라 사신을 접대하기 위한 그릇의 수준을 높이고 형태를 중국식으로 만들었다. 이후 17세기 조선 관요는 중국 그릇의 특징이 반영된 백자를 제작했고 이러한 흐름의 연장에서 넓은굽의 백자도 등장했던 것으로 이해할 수 있다.

The shape of the bowl may change due to various factors, such as changing the climate environment, growing social scale, and changing the composition of the community's changes.
However, it is difficult to clearly analyze the cause and time of the difference in the shape of the bowl that changes according to gradual cultural changes. On the other hand, if there is a bowl of unusual shape and pattern, the cause and change of its appearance can be directly inferred.
The white porcelain with bi-shaped bottom made in Joseon and Japan, including China in the 17th century, is a prominent formative element in the ceramic culture of the three East Asian countries. Since the production period is limited and the appearance is special, it is also used as a material to determine the production period. In fact, bi-shaped bottom is recognized as one of the important characteristics of white porcelain in the 17th century in the study of Joseon ceramic history.
Due to their preference for antiques, which were popular in the late Ming Dynasty, the characteristics of the previous period’s Ming Royal kiln ceramics were reflected in the products of commercial kiln’s white porcelain in China at that time.
The contact between Joseon and China, which was caused by the Japanese Invasion of Joseon in 1592 and the Manchu war of 1636, allowed the Joseon royal family and the capital city to use various Chinese porcelain, including blue and white porcelain with bi-shaped bottom.
After the Japanese Invasion of Korea, Joseon gave sincere services to the Ming court, diplomats and made the form Chinese.
Later, in the 17th century, Joseon Royal kiln produced white porcelain ref lecting the characteristics of Chinese vessels, and it can be understood that white porcelain with bi-shaped bottom also appeared in this trend.
