초록

During 2011~2012, this article organized theoretical problems of study on history of Late Joseon and achievement of study on political history. First of all, there were plenty of theoretical consideration for macroscopic viewpoint during this period, which had been uncommon due to the influence of postmodernism. Researchers had opinion in common with the necessity of new definition for modernity and the critical mind to overcome westerncentrism and national historical recognition, although there were various opinion gaps between them, In the study on political history, there were some researches that give Tangpyeong( 蕩平) politics on 18th century a deeper significance from a perspective of reinforcement of public interest. There also appeared a new viewpoint on Sedo(勢道) politics on 19th century through adding a meaning to Samjeong- Ijeongchack of the king Cheuljong peroid. Among the premodern era, there are the most historical materials accumulated in the Late Joseon period. Theorization work to newly understand these various, abundant political fact should be kept on.
