외암리 민속마을의 풍수적 해석과 부동산학적 시사점 (The Geomantic Interpretation of the Oeam-ri Folk Village and Its Implications for Real Estate Studies)

초록

본 연구는 충남 아산시 송악면 외암리 민속마을을 풍수 형기론적 입장에서 마을입지가 풍수적인 조건과 어떻게 부합하는가를 풍수체계인 용, 혈, 사, 수, 비보론에 입각하여 분석하고 이를 토대로 현대의 신도시 개발 등 부동산학에서의 시사점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
분석 결과 용세에 있어 주산인 설화산으로 들어온 용맥은 태조산(속리산)에서 이어진 주 간룡맥(幹龍脈)으로써 기의 역량이 큰 것으로 판단하였다. 또한 설화산에서 마을(혈처)로 들어오는 입수룡맥은 부모산(父母山), 태(胎), 식(息),잉(孕)의 과정이 뚜렷하여 생룡의 조건에 부합한다. 혈세로서는 마을의 입지는 겸혈에 가깝다고 보았다. 사세에 있어서는 사신사(四神砂)중 내백호가 낮은 것이 취약점이 되고 있으나 주산, 주작(案山), 청룡이 짜임새 있게 갖추어져 내백호의 결점을 외백호(外白虎)의 보완으로 마을의 입지는 상대적으로 안정된 입지라 할 수 있다. 수세에 있어서는 민속마을의 내수는 여러 곳에서 모여 다득에 해당되고, 마을 앞에서 토성(土星)수로 감아 돌아 풍수지리법의 길한 조건에 부합되고 있으나, 합수처 이후 외당수가 외백호와 산수동거하여 수세에서는 약간 미흡한 것으로 판단하였다. 이에 따라 백호의 허결함을 보완하기 위한 각종의 비보 등이 있었다.
이상의 연구 결과를 현대의 신도시 개발이나 뉴타운, 재개발 등에 적용한다면 풍수이론과 부동산학이 결합한 새로운 개발논리에 따른 이상적인 입지선정과 개발이 가능할 것이다.

영어초록

From a perspective of the Form School of Feng-Shui, this study attempts to analyze how the location of the folk village situated at Oeam-ri Songak-myeon Asan City Chungcheongnamdo Province corresponds with the geomantic conditions based on the geomantic system of Yong(mountain, ridge), Hyeol(dwelling site or grave site), Sa(surrounding mountains) and Su(water), and complementary measures. Based on its results, it aims to present implications for real estate studies such as the development of contemporary new towns.
As a result of analysis, it is found that the mountain range, or Yongmaek(龍脈) entering Mount Seolhwa, the main mountain, in terms of mountainous form is the top main mountain range stemming from Taejosan(Mount Sokri) and has the great capability of chi, or life energy. And Ipsuyongmaek(入首龍脈) coming to the village(hyeolcheo) from Mount Seolhwa has the clear-cut process of Parental Mountain(父母山), Fetus(胎), breath(息) and pregnancy(孕) and so corresponds with the condition of the live mountain(生龍). It is thought that the location of the village is close to Gyeomhyel(鉗穴) in terms of its form. It is the weak point that the Internal White Tiger(內白虎) of the village, of its four-orientation mountains (四神砂), is low in terms of the form of its surrounding mountains(砂勢) but it can be said to have the relatively stable location as it is well equipped with Main Mountain(主山), Vermilion Bird(Ansan) and Azure Dragon and complements the weak point of its Internal White Tiger(內白虎) with its External White Tiger (外白虎). In terms of water energy, the internal water of the folk village gathers from several places, and so it pertains to the auspicious condition of the method of divination based on topography as it flows through Saturn Water(土星水) at front of the village. But it is thought that the water energy of the village is slightly insufficient as External Field Water, or Oedangsu(外堂水) flow in the same direction with External White Tiger after its convergence(合水處). Accordingly, there have been all sorts of complementary measures to resolve the weak points of White Tiger of the village.
It is expected that the application of the findings of this study to contemporary new town development, redevelopment and so on will contribute to the ideal location selection and development corresponding with the new development logic combining the Feng-Shui theory and real estate studies.
